Hi Splen! Did you test giving a command that works offline after you say "Ok Google"? Could you please try to say "Call " with data and wifi off? Thanks.

...Or just say "set timer" with Ok Google listening offline...

yes it does

Yep, I confirm that “set timer” works.
Mind you, I should take the sim out completely instead of just turning data off.
But it seems to be working like Sonia has said.

I set the timer for 10 minutes and it worked in airplane mode on the LEM 7

Hi! I’m confused! Sophie says Ok Google offline commands don’t work but Pablo and Splen says it works… please test some other offline Ok Google commands…

“Take a picture/photo.”
“Record a video.”
“Take a selfie.”
“Increase/decrease volume.”
“Mute the volume.”
“Turn [on/off] [Flashlight, WiFi, Bluetooth].”

I think Sophie will reply soon.

Hi! Off course, we can’t expect Ok Google commands that need an answer to work offline! What should be tested offline are Ok Google “device” commands…

Hi! Another very simple command to confirm if Ok Google offline commands work is to say "open " like “open camera” when Ok Google is listening…

yes it works on LEM 7

Yes, confirm what Splen says.
I must admit that I don’t usually have it enabled due to the battery consumption… But it seems to work ok.

Hi Pablo! So it seems Ok Google offline commands work ok on these watches. That’s great! Do you think we could expect a firmware update for H2 smartwatch or it’s limited to A7 smartwatches? Thanks.

Here’s some more offline Ok Google commands you could try:

“Show me my messages.”
“Text [name of contact] [say the message].”
“Call [say the name of the contact].”

Evernote — “Make a note with Evernote.”
Whatsapp — “Send a Whatsapp message to [say contact name].”
Pandora — “Play [name of song] on Pandora.”
Google Music — “Listen to [name of song].”

“Set an alarm for [say time].”
“Set an alarm in [say how many minutes, or hours].”
“Set a repeating alarm for [say the label].”
“Set a repeating alarm for [say the label] at [say the time].”
“Set a repeating alarm at [say the time] for [say the label] every/on [say the days of the week, or say everyday].”
“Show me my alarms.”
“When is my next alarm?”
“Wake me up at [say the time] then [the day, or say ‘everyday’].”

“Create/Add/Schedule a meeting.”
“Create a calendar event.”
“Schedule an event [say the title of the event] then [say the day and time].”
“What’s my next appointment?”
“Show me the appointments for [say the day].”
“What does my [say schedule or calendar] look like on [say the day]?”

“Add a reminder.”
“Remind me to [say what you want to be reminded of] at [say the time].”
“Remind me to [say what you want to be reminded of] when I get to/next time I’m at [say the location].”

Hi! To reduce battery consumption i guess you don't need to have Ok Google enabled and listening at background all the time... just open voice search when you want to execute offline commands...

Yep, I am glad it’s all good.
It’s me that adds Google services to these
I just couldn’t test it until I got the LEM7.
It’s a public holiday here so the last thing on my mind this weekend was testing the watches… Ha ha ha.

As for the H2, I have no idea what will happen with it. They are focused on the new H3 so I am not sure at the moment.

Hi Pablo! Sorry for my insistence but that’s because beside clock display, phone, messages/notifications and fitness/health information i see nothing more important than Ok Google offline commands feature on an android smartwatch…

what do you want to check?

Hi Sophie! I think it’s already confirmed all Ok Google “device” commands would work offline (wifi off and data off), but i listed some you could check to be 100% sure. Also, please confirm if fitness stock app use GPS or it’s useless like in H2 smartwatch. Thanks.

“Text [name of contact] [say the message].” - with active SIM
“Call [say the name of the contact].” - with active SIM
“Listen to [name of song].”
“Set an alarm for [say time].”
“Set Timer.”
“Create an event [say the title of the event] then [say the day and time].”
“Add a reminder.”
“Open .”
“Take a picture/photo.”
“Increase/decrease volume.”
“Mute the volume.”
“Turn [on/off] [WiFi, Data, Bluetooth].”

Enough of the Ok Google stuff now.
I will make you a separate thread.
We need to keep this thread focussed.
Thanks jrjr

Any Thor 4 owners out there - can you tell me if your watch is overheating please?

I did not know how to turn it off but a simply searching for the function in my I4Air was successful. Settings:/Language and Input:/Speech/Voice Input:/select the settings icon under selected function:/ "OK Google" detection:/turn off.

I have just got my Thor 4, following on from getting a Thor S. Unfortunately during my setup I managed to enable smartlock which requires a pin etc. I added a pin and then found that when it is asked for the Pin the keyboard does not appear so I am stuck. I tried to do a Hard Reset - hold two keys until the menu comes up in Chinese. From Google I found I needed to select eMMC which I did however on the next screen it keeps saying that eMMC is busy try again which I have done numerous times but to no avail. I have a bad feeling that I just wrecked it. Can anyone help - I did think of getting a corded keyboard,to see if I could connect using the cable but not sure it that will work
