zeblaze thor 4 LTE

so far i’ve liked what the watch has to offer especially in activities tracking.

Please check the LEM7 thread as well. These 2 watches (Thor 4 and LEM7) are identical internally (firmware and software)

i hope THIS is’nt the price tag:</b>

I see.
I’m looking for a 4G watch with android 7 and 2GB of ram. But they just produce 1 GB of ram.

In thor s 4g they said something about the battery, what do you think? And what’s the difference between that and other watches.

apricitas

most likely we will see later on 2gb ram LTE watches but not for now about battery life it should be way better than the 5.1 watches and time will tell:) i think that we can’t say which watch is better because we do’nt have a way to compare but i know that A7.0 should give us way better battery life than the A5.1 i think also that is why we see only 1gb of ram cos of the OS version. i actually wonder about the notifications app which we did’nt get any info for now.

Hi Sophie! I see no improvement and can’t manage connection to my H2 watch! Did you test it!? Thanks.

After reading the information at the bottom of the GPS listing I would be sure to have a backup copy of the previous Wii-Watch app just in case. If you decide to stay with the original version make sure to turn off Auto Update.

Guess it's not working on Android 5.1. I think it has heart rate and motion (sport) monitoring. Choose watch face by app. Choose the exercises you want.

I guess them from the app, but didn’t connect to any watch to know if its working or not.

Waiting for more android 7 watch to buy one.

Hi! According to google play store it’s suppose to work on Android 5.1 but i wonder if there’s a single watch that connects and works with this Wiiwatch 2 app!?

I'm checking it:) my phone is note 5 with android 7 and the watch is kw99.

edit:

the watch does’nt connect to the app and now wiiwatch itself does’nt i’m checking it with developers.

I guess watch os should be 7 however i found in a web page they say it’s for api 10 and abow, so it should work on your watch, unless it been produced for different watches.
As i read in lem7, it’s working with old wiiwatch not the new one.
My phone is mate 10 android 8, i just installed but my watch iqi i4 air android 5.1is not here to test it.

Hi! I believe this WiiWatch 2 app will never be suitable to replace original WiiWatch on our “old” watches and i agree with captjon we must preserve a copy of the previous WiiWatch app just in case.

That's not working on my watch iqi i4 air kernel 2018.

Hi everyone, received my Zeblaze Thor 4 yesterday and am starting to get to know it reasonably well.

First impressions are: very nicely made, WiFi and 4G connectivity is very good. It finds and holds a signal as well as my Moto G4 smartphone and in some instances slightly better. Connectivity here in the UK on 2G, 3G and 4G cellular is as good as any smartphone. Basically I have a lot of poor signal locations in my area and the antennas and receiver are clearly well designed as it’s working everywhere I’d hope it would and a few places I didn’t expect it to. Download and upload speeds on 4G cellular and WiFi are excellent. Audio quality via it’s speaker is clear and reasonably loud but I’m waiting to pass judgement on the microphone, need some more feedback in that area.

The Android 7 OS on it works very well and is fast and smooth via the touchscreen. The screen goes from nice and dim for night time use to bright enough for use in sunlight. Resolution is very good and colours are sharp. The camera appears to be a true 5Mp sensor and takes pretty decent pictures. Droid Info is showing the max resolution as 2560 x 1920. The video appears to be full HD with vibrant colours and pretty sharp but I suspect the frame rate is fairly low (I’m only guessing but I’d suspect around 25-30fps, I may be wrong). Droid Info giving supported video resolution as 1920 x 1080 Full HD but no mention of frame rates…

It does not do bluetooth calling out of the box.

It does connect to Wiiwatch2 and seems to work fine on it (my phone is running Android 7.1)

It connects without issue to all my bluetooth, headsets, speakers, earbuds and also the bluetooth hands free system in my car. Call and audio quality via all of them has been truly excellent. “Ok Google” handsfree spoken commands are working superbly both via the watches internal speaker and microphone but especially via the in car bluetooth CD/Radio system. Once I’d paired it, all I have to do now is turn on bluetooth on the watch, get in the car and drive off. The stereo unit connects to the watch automatically, the music (saved to the phones internal storage) starts playing and I can then adjust volume or change tracks via the steering wheel controls. If I want to make a handsfree call I just say "Ok Google, (wait for the vibration on my wrist) and then say “Call [name of person] mobile” and it dials the number via the car stereo and the call is then via the cars internal mic and speakers. Couldn’t be clearer or easier. Working far better than I was hoping. I have no reason to doubt that the spoken Google Maps navigation directions from the watch will also stream nicely via the cars bluetooth music system.

My only concern so far is the battery. After its first charge I was obviously using it a lot whilst learning, exploring and setting things up but it still went flat in about 4 hours. For a first charge and under very heavy use I wasn’t too surprised however I was concerned when it really struggled to charge from there. It got to around 20% and then stuck for several hours. In the end I decided something wasn’t right and after 2 complete resets and finally a hard reset I turned everything off, put the screen on dimmest setting and it started charging better and I left it for a full overnight charge to 100%. Today has been a very long day and I’ve had to charge it twice from flat to 100%. Now that might not sound very good but it’s been on 4G data and/or WiFi plus bluetooth for most of that time. I’ve also spent about 30 minutes on 4G calls and another 30 minutes on VOIP data calls and about 5 hours streaming music via bluetooth. So in 17 hours it’s been in heavy use for about 13 of those hours and charging for the other 4. It takes about 2 hours to charge to 100% from nearly flat (10 - 15%). With every charge it seems to be gaining endurance and lasting longer each time so I suspect in a day or so and under more typical lighter use I should get a full day out of an overnight charge.

All in all, so far so good and very pleased with it.

Any questions about it feel free to ask.

Regards,

Goaty.

wow, thanks for the review, i loved reading it, that is why i’m not that excited about the 4g i think it has the most significant impact on battery life. can you plz try a day usage just with 3g and all same usage to see how long it last? thanks:)
