Where to order CD20Max / CD12Max from?

Yes, only Web links to shared files / folders work here. I can always provide you with a google drive shared folder from our 2 TB Google 1 shared space if you want.

i alreay have two one generated with google ai generator another provided by friend, now i will let openclaw manage it

Some 2026 watches can be rooted by disabling avb with a modified spd_dump

I don’t know about which series have been completely wiped from USB data transfer

Can TWRP be flashed to recovery safely on Feb 2026 firmware? Are there any backups of stock recovery, or a way to back it up before attempting to flash?

TWRP recovery for CD20MAX: GitHub - hxzbaka/twrp_device_tree_sprd_uws6152_1h10_go-cd20max: BiDeZhi_WATCH CD20MAX-W527 Android9.0 Ā· GitHub

Have you checked AI search engines for the answer?

You would need to disable image signing first. At the very least I expect.

Yes, I did check AI/web results and also investigated the watch directly over ADB/fastboot.

Based on your comment about image signing, and @AILIFE’s reply to my earlier ā€œHow do you root CD20MAX?ā€ question with my firmware screenshot, my understanding is that this does apply to my CD20MAX on the newer Feb 2026 firmware - meaning the firmware/signing version is too new for the old root path, and possibly also affects USB/download-mode flashing access.

If I’m reading that correctly, then before I do anything risky I want to confirm whether the practical answer is:

  • TWRP should not be flashed to recovery yet on this firmware, unless a signing workaround already exists, and
  • it’s unsafe to proceed without a full restore path first

Right now I do not have a rollback path:

  • no root, so I can’t dd stock recovery
  • fastboot fetch is unsupported
  • no stock firmware package in hand

So I’m looking for any of these files for CD20MAX / uws6152_1h10_go:

  • stock .pac
  • stock recovery.img
  • stock boot.img
  • vbmeta.img
  • fdl1-sign.bin
  • fdl2-sign.bin
  • partition XML / ResearchDownload config
  • a confirmed-working TWRP for this firmware generation (the one I found is Dec 2025)

If the current recommendation is basically ā€œdon’t flash anything on this Feb 2026 firmware unless you already have a restore package or known signing bypassā€, that would already answer my question clearly.

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

Recovery is not protected by avb in W series processor, you should be able to use spd_dump to replace the stock recovery

Just a warning: Please make a full backup of your smartwatch firmware by using ā€œr allā€. We currently don’t have the 2026 firmware for CD20MAX so if you mess up the partitions, you’re on your own.

Thanks! In order to r all, I would still need fdl1-sign.bin + fdl2-sign.bin files, or a stock .pac file, right? I’ve searched and haven’t found these anywhere yet or a method to extract these alone.

Oh really…?

That’s pretty good news.

Yes, both old W377/E and W527 only protects boot partition (root), and probably some other security partition with no use for us customers.

You will have to check in some Telegram groups. I ain’t so sure If I can send the FDL files here.

Thank you so much! I got everything I need from your YouTube video: Flashing Smartwatch GSIs just got WAY easier with AI (W527 processor)

I’ll report back here with whatever results I get from my experiments :man_scientist: :watch: :robot: :high_voltage:

Recovery can’t be flashed on CD12 Max right?

If it can, I would be very surprised - but also happy…lol

Mine still hasn’t arrived from the UK. As I you know, it’s one that had the international firmware that is terrible, and @Dr_Andy_Vishnu tried to flash the Chinese version without success.

In your opinion @AILIFE do you think it is possible to get it working again and flash the Chinese firmware? I’m a little concerned about possible partition differences and the available bands for cellular. This is first time I’ve seen a watch that has (possible) differences (partitions, and maybe even different hardware) between domestic and international models.

Maybe even the LCMs are different..?

But then again, I am so used to the Wiite brand devices. That maybe the reason.

mine can install twrp but you must need it come out of factory with 2025 firmware which is extremely rare, or you need to use exploit to disable AVB which is only possible to use on windows so i cant try idk if it actually works

you can most likely flash chinese firmware it is better done in linux because the tool works terribly in windows, if you flash the nv_wlte partition the bands also change

partition difference i am not sure if spd_dump can repartition, i am not an expert at this new tool yet, but ai are better then me you can just ask him

Yes, spd_dump can partition if you create or have the .xml to tell it the size and name.

There are probably hardware revisions along with the anti-rollback feature that makes unable to flash the chinese software into a 2026 watch, especially if they are both different markets. I have 2 CD12 watches, both same global models but I can’t put the newer system into the older watch, or put the older system into the newer watch.
