FYI, my (erroneously) ordered cd20 came yesterday, nice watch, everything seems good so far, its a replacement for my vwar core 4, which iāve found the 1000 mAh powerbank that came with the core 4 also āfitāsā the cd20, albeit not a great āfitā, but it does deliver power, (circa Ā£10 on vwar for anybody interested), down side is they charge through the old usb micro b type port
are they cd20 or cd20max, they are not the same
do you received correctly with CN firmware

i dont think 3/32 existed for any w527, 4g ram is requierment

yeah, i think itās probably more confusion on their part as much as anything, than intent, at least with shenzhen vision, one thing everybody should do is screenshot what they think their buying, because they seem to amend the web pages quite regularly rather than posting a new one
Luna Luna at Shenzhen Vision Wujiang Technology Co., Ltd. contacted me to let me know they now have a choice between a chinese rom and an esea rom for this watch, she āguaranteesā me itās a cd20max, and has changed the āspec sheetā to confirm the W527 and android 9, albeit, it appears to be one sheās typed up herself rather than one issued but the manufacturer !
Its Luna Luna who sent me a CD20 instead of a CD20max. I wouldnt give her the buisness
Hi from the Philippines, i Have the CD20max with google play. only issue i have is after the screen times out , the screen doesnāt completely turn off for 30 seconds ( there is a grey color on very minimum brightness), but screen does completely turn off after the 30 seconds mark. maybe its a software glitch they need to fix on next updateā¦ the listing i have did say they will send some sort of portable magnetic powerbank but didnt receive any haha. my email is cyprus12siaton@gmail.com if you want me to test apps if they work, i dont have the magnetic usb cable right now
Usually thatās only applied to mainland order i supposed. Anyways SZS is quite good, hoping to see the price of cd20 max to come down a bit

Hi all,
Is anyone in touch with the brand CD? It would be great if we can establish a collection of the stock firmware in original .pac format for people who end up having issues and might need to get back to full stock build to get their watch booting again.
I am able to get stock firmware for many watches, but not CD watches or the other brand (forget their name at the moment). I just think it is always a good idea to have them if at all possible. Not on a G-Drive but another open storage platform.
Anyway, just an idea and please donāt read anything into it, itās just the way we try to make sure that if end users get into trouble - there is a way out and skill needed to get back to working status is very simple for anyone who feels like itās too complicated to use the current options.
Now that these devices are becoming increasingly popular, I feel that we should try to offer as much support as possible. Like we do for all the other brands that mostly use the Wiite solution. If no one has this kind of relationship, I can reach out to them and try to engage. They might be happy to see that there is a place where their customers can get support and in turn have less items returned due to end user āmistakesā.

you can convert lose partitions into .pac but spddump which is the tool to use now actually does NOT support .pac file so why would you want that you need to ddecompress the pac file first using another tool then you can flash it

No problem if no one has that relationship. This is only about our usual support process for end users. As I said before, I am fine with talking to them about it, but I thought I should ask if anyone already has a relationship with them first.
This is purely a āget out of jail freeā option for users who may just need to recover their watch but may only have the knowledge of using the normal flash tool. Itās something that is normal for all other devices and I think it is worth exploring the possibilities for these as well.
Iām fine with spddump (as you know, Iām just about to use it), and Iām guessing that many other āenthusiastsā are as well.
But I am almost certain that the more popular these particular products get, the more likely it becomes that we will be asked for the flash tool version of the stock firmware. The pac format . Not a read-back dump, just the factory firmware pac files for domestic and international users. This is not an unusual request. It is the āusualā way that a brand or a vendor would deal with a customer request for firmware.
I would be very surprised indeed if they donāt have this.
If they donāt, well - there is no harm in asking

the thing you read back is exactly the same as one in pac format, just one is compressed in propritary way, nothing elseā¦
the spddump also can read the partition table
if you want a pac i can provide, what model do you want, it is really wasting time for both me and the user to compress into pac and before flash need to decompress again
because of hardware revision, it is highly not recommended to recover from full dump unless you absolutely have to
