Have a xlm skin that opens with 90mb of memory and runs out of memory soon after opening. Memory tab indicates a maximum of 285mb available, is there a way to increase that?
Go here and ask…
Use a 64-bit java version instead of a 32-bit.
Marco - I’ve been using WFD for just about a week now and I am very grateful for you having developed it!
ALL this time I have been making these detailed HUGE file watch faces with WFD crashing because I am a stupid idiot! Spending hours and hours dealing with it. Thanks to doubledad’s query and your response, Marco, my memory for WFD increased from 256 Mb to OVER 2 GIGS!!! HOLY CRAP THANK YOU BOTH!!!
I didn’t even know there was both a 64 bit and a 32 bit version of java…
WFD still says that I have 250mb after allocating 1gb and also if I downloaded the 64bit it says that it’s a 32bit version. Only benefit I got is that now my Laptop fans are very quiet.
First, I uninstalled all versions of JAVA using this tool…
https://www.java.com/en/download/uninstalltool.jsp
Next I installed this version…

All JAVA versions can be found here…

JAVA recommends that you download both 32 and 64 bit versions if you are having compatibility issues with your browser. Many browsers use 32 bit JAVA. Firefox browser doesn’t currently support JAVA. You can have several different JAVA applications installed at once on your computer. The browser and WFD will automatically determine what version to use that you have installed.
You can also go here to test JAVA in your browser…
