Apparently, there is no problem at all with the webserver and the Gaofit service.
All I can say is check your settings and reinstall if needed.
The usual trouble shooting stuff.
I’ve already responded to you here:
Now it’s working again on both cellphones (new and old), without do nothing at all.
Thanks!!
@lumaticsoft android 15 (for phone app) will ever supported ?
Ask him through the Play Store
Unfortunately, the project is already very old, and I couldn’t maintain it any longer due to its breadth and all of Google’s restrictions.
After a three-year hiatus, I’m creating a new, much lighter project focused solely on notifications, geared toward newer Android devices.
Regards.
A bittersweet taste on me when read this… But, what can I say, I mean… As much I prefer them, Full Android watches are almost extincted nowadays…
Looking forward to your latest project. Sad to see the end of watchdroid as its been a pleasure to use
Been having the best experience with Watchdroid so far. Happy to see you still want to continue its legacy
Thanks so much for your support here over the years @lumaticsoft
It has been very much appreciated by all.
I also understand the new path you are taking.
Thanks again ![]()

It is a painful read ![]()
Hi @lumaticsoft , why I am receiving this message?
Is there some new version? Or just got something to do with the end of the project mentioned above?
My installed version is v15.16.48
There isn’t any newer version and it’s no longer supported. Just ignore it, it’s still working fine.
For anyone reading in the future this app is already dead please visit RTOSify — Sync everything from your phone to your Android smartwatch for up to date version
Hello everyone.
Many of you know me from Watch Droid, an app I worked on for several years that became widely used. Over time, maintaining it became increasingly complex due to constant Android updates, the various customization layers from manufacturers, and the need to dedicate more and more time to development and support.
For this reason, I stopped maintaining Watch Droid some time ago and started working on a new project from scratch: SmartWatch Notifications.
The idea is to build a more modern, stable app, ready to evolve with new versions of Android and Wear OS. It’s still under development and has a long way to go, but it already has several interesting features, and I’ll continue adding new ones gradually.
Currently, SmartWatch Notifications includes:
Compatibility: Android watches and Wear OS devices.
Simplicity: A single app for both devices.
Synchronization: Notifications, social media messages, and messaging apps.
Interaction: Ability to respond to notifications, listen to audio, and view images.
Connection: Renewed and more efficient system.
UX: Simpler and easier-to-configure interface.
Active development with new features on the way.
My goal is to create a robust, fast, and reliable application for communication between your phone and smartwatch.
If you were a Watch Droid user, we invite you to try SmartWatch Notifications and share your comments or suggestions; your feedback is essential for our continued growth.
Thank you for your support over the years!
Here is the link to the Play Store.
Important Note: The Google Play version requires Android 8 or higher. If your phone or smartwatch uses Android 5, 6, or 7, you can try a lighter version by downloading it here:
Lovely to see this @lumaticsoft and welcome back ![]()
Would you prefer to have a dedicated thread for this new work, or do you want to leave it here? We can always link this topic to the new one as well, for reference purposes.
Anyway, congratulations on the release and look forward to hearing feedback from people using it.
Is this a play store app as well? I probably not due to Google’s clamp down these days.
Thank you very much @pablo11 !!!
In a few days, once I have more content, screenshots, and additional information to share, I’ll create a dedicated thread for SmartWatch Notifications. Linking this topic to the new thread for reference would be great.
And yes, SmartWatch Notifications is available on the Google Play Store. Fortunately, it has been approved and is currently listed there. I also provide a separate APK version for users with older Android devices that are no longer supported by the Play Store release. I’ve included the download link in this topic.
Thanks again for the warm welcome and support. I’m looking forward to hearing feedback from users and continuing to improve the app.
On the play store too, that’s fantastic. ![]()
