@Christ,
I’m pretty sure I have all applicable volumes set to max for phone calls - can you provide a step-guide you favor so I can see if I have missed something? thanks!
When you start a phone call there is a cursor for volume control, set it to the max…
Thanks @christ for your advice, I’m afraid I can’t take the advice as Gospel as I increased the vol setting\s when I first got the watch several weeks ago and it made no difference. I am looking for a more in-depth software\firmware upgrade fix.
I am hoping @pablo11 or @Dr_Andy_Vishnu will be able to provide some insight soon.
Cheers!
I wonder if there was an unintended spelling book word replacement there, I don’t understand the Gospel part ?
Anyway I think @christ has a very valid point. I went into the settings and checked my volume settings, but actually there are none for the call audio volume. In the calling dialogue @christ mentions, there is a volume slider which in my case is on max, while none of the volume settings in the general audio settings are at max, so this clearly is a separate control for this purpose. Therefore I find it odd, that you won’t accept his advice ?
@Dotsfar … I fully accept his advice and would never reject it out of hand … my post has been misinterpreted.
It’s simply that adjusting the call volume slider was the first thing I did when I got the watch 2 months ago and it didn’t change a thing.
All other attempts to find a solution have not helped.
As for the “Gospel” part, this was simply a play on words as his handle is “christ”… also meant in good spirited humor.
No problem i fully understand your humor… May be your watch as a sound problem, how is the volume sound when you look something on youtube for example ? On my watch i have no problem with the sound on phone call even in the street with some noise around…
@christ - cheers mate, I don’t have any issue with the watch playing music or youtube sound etc. (even outside)
But if I need to take or make a phone call in the street I’m screwed (some people have stopped trying to call because I can’t hear them and they struggle to hear me) … very frustrating all round.
Thanks for trying to help.
Ok. Last thing you can try before a full reset or return back to the seller, is using a blutooth headset in phone call just to see if it’s better, just to verify the volume part in phone-call…
bluetooth headphones are fine … returning to the seller can be a real headache with Aliexpress.
Yeah, as I said before in previous posts… They found an issue with the design of the main board and the other issue is the mastic they use for waterproofing.
My advice is to return the product.
I will assist you if needed.
Try a dispute on Ali may be some chance if it’s official seller Ticwris
There is not an issue with all the models : mine is fine…
@christ
Yes I understand.
Can you give me details of the firmware and when you purchased yours?
Our understanding is that this “hardware” issue only applies to early products.
The more information and timelines we can gather - the better.
I would be interested to hear from you about what date you purchased your device.
I am also curious to know if you have removed the rear cover and inspected the microphone location for excessive water proofing materials that might be responsible.?
The reason why these details are important is that we need to develop a support plan for customers who are experiencing these issues.
I appreciate your help in helping you.
Thanks
Pablo11.
@pablo11 … FYI,
I purchased my Ticwris Max S last Dec 17th @Aliexpress.
I have never opened the watch up in anyway.
Thx.
I have receive mine the 20/01/2021, never open it or flashed;
Ok thanks,
Well, I can’t tell if your issue is due to the waterproofing or the hardware.
I suspect that returning it is the best option.
If you want help with this let me know
Cheers
Thanks,
Is yours a MAX S or a KOSPET Note?
Cheers
