I just put it on the tip.
Not around the ridge because I did not want it to be stuck in.
You can always test it with a tiny drop of super glue first.
Again, just remember that it has to be very tiny…
I think there is a small rubber ring in which the tip is inserted before reaching the key, if I put a little attack with a needle in the hollow of the pin and push it in until I hear the first click it will hang up but I should be sure of the sealing mechanism, now I simply removed the spring so as not to blow the button, if it doesn’t give me problems I can think of cutting the spring slightly so as not to explode it, the seal ring makes friction and alone it would not come out
I have gone into it further and you need to see this because you are correct about the little ring.
I did this on a different watch that was a slightly different design.
So if you look at the photo you can see where I am pressing the button in and the little disk on the end of the push rod is visible.
Unfortunately, without dismantling the watch you will not be able to access this and even then I cannot think how you can repair it…
so it is even more dangerous to use glue on the tip, at this point the only one would be to glue the ends of the spring.
Yes that is why I posted this photo.
Because it is different to the watch I glued my button in
To be honest I can’t really recommend any solution because the best way is to open up the back of the watch.
But this is extremely fragile stuff you will be tinkering with and the chance of failure or accidental damage is very high.
So I can’t recommend it.
But it is what I just did to get that photo for you.
How long have you owned the watch?
4 months, but in the past 2 months I haven’t used it
Thanks
have you got by any chance links to those articles on how to set gps config for one’s region ? I’d give it a try
@Roberto_Gasdia
As I said, they are over on XDA.
Unfortunately I don’t have time to go and get the details for you.
But it’s really very easy to go to their site and search for it.
you’re right it was easy
Yep.
Cool and I hope you get improvements
It seems that it makes it a bit better, I don’t know, but it surely worth trying
To avoid the frequently use of Mechanical Power Button, I do the same but on my screen.
- active the Swifty Switch by touching on the verge of the screen (no floating).
- This app allow me to set apps, actions, shortcuts, folders, one-touch calls, etc
- Press the power Button on my screen and voila! No need of Mechanical Power Button.
@tuiter Nice info. what app you use ?
Wow…What a good app!
Can you share this app’s information!
Thank you very much!
Thank for your share , I will try it later!
Norton security blocked this web site on my computer. Just in case here is another link from apk.pure
Use this version, Sidebar Edge Screen Shortcuts Swiftly Switch_v3.2.6_apkpure.com.xapk, I’ve tried the recent versions but they don’t work properly in my watch.
Just curious does it have a “lock screen” function? The power off would only be useful if you wanted to turn the watch off.
