Well said, mate. I, for one, keep buying these A8.1s as an enthusiast. There is nothing else to buy, and nothing else to play with. It gives me something to tinker with. However, I know what to expect.

It may work for whitelisted apps, but not all, e.g. mine: HeartFit - track heart rate

Does the H19 run Android 8.1 or 9.0?

I suspect that in both cases it is A8. The A9 variant will have a fake settings app.
Personally, I would prefer the A8 variant in the hope that the developer options are available. This is usually not the case with fake settings apps.

If you use an android smartphone, you can use watchdroid. Youāll find it in the playstore. Two apps, one for your phone and one for the watch.

Your suspicions are confirmed. I bought an H19. Although the System info says A9, you canāt enter Developer mode from the settings app by clicking on he build number. As a consequence I canāt access the USB settings to enable file transfer with a 4 pin cable.

Basically, it just becomes a nice looking paper weight

I too am critical of these watches. However, I think that everyone who has bought one should decide for themselves whether they want to return it. That is neither my job nor yours to decide.

Some help for you to acess USB file transfer with this watch : Iāve find a way who work to enable usb debugging on my H19 watch, the apk is āSmartwatch devoption apkā. Hi, I received an H19 a while ago, and GPS is not working. Tried rebooting, and resetting and still not working. Google maps keeps searching for GPS. Any idea for this or problem?
can you debloat the h18/h19? i did this on my nebula X and it added a lot of battery-time, but the watch needs to be connected to your pc thru usbā¦as the h18/h19 cannot connect thru usb, this is not an optionā¦any ideas??
