Optimus 2 Official support Thread - Updated 26/06/21

I’m using the battery dock from the Lemfo Lem15 and it charges the battery up to 100%

With no USB cable attached?

i can get it up to 100% using a 2amp charger, but not a 1amp, or at least it was going so slowly i gave up

as for the dock, my reading on the kospet site is it’s 1000mah, and the watch 1260mah ?

which if correct of course, and my understanding of the circuitry has any value, ought to mean the dock won’t charge the watch above 80%

so i’m now thinking it was more the fact i had the dock/watch connected to a 1amp charger, and if i use my 2amp charger it might go to 100%, i.e. charging using a ‘live’ dock does in fact bypass the dock and it merely acts as a cradle in that circumstance

I have made a video from the watch directly listing all codecs, there are too many to list them manually but I can’t post a link to YouTube yet.

Regarding your question about the screen, amoled is for sure better, especially for contrast. Black is greyish but overal, the screen is very sharp and nice.

Actually I don’t think using a 2 amp charger is good at all.
I can use a 500mah (0.5A) charger and reach 100 % without issue.

I strongly recommend that you don’t use a high output charger.
Just use the cable alone for charging the watch at home with a 1A Max charger.

The dock is better saved for emergency charging when you are away from home.

As for the battery capacity, because I am associated with the manufacturer, I can confirm that the battery is the same in the watch and dock.
1100mah - 1200mah is the reality of the battery capacity. Allowing for manufacturing variations…

Hello my friend! My Optimus 2 is on the way  Have you tried the lite android mode and if yes, what results do you have about the battery consumption?

The battery consumption is so great on this watch you probably wont use it . But there if you need it

Agree with @Dr_Andy_Vishnu.
It’s great. Probably even better if you use the power saving mode (which is all Dual System is - see update on the first post)
I doubt you will be disappointed unless you want to use it as a mini computer…lol

It’s my third watch of that kind this year and it has the best battery so far but max 3-4 days with battery saver enabled.

Thanks @Dr_Andy_Vishnu and @pablo11 for your replies. I know that the battery has almost the same capacity as Prime’s and i know that android 10 and the new chipset consume less battery for their processes… I just wonder how much less  I do a moderate use of talking and texting to fb messenger (only if it is necessary, i don’t use to do long conversations :stuck_out_tongue: ) during the day… The only heavy use i do is when i go for running once in a week, for about an hour, when i use the gps with myrunning app and listen to music with music folder player app via bt on my headset. Of course with Prime i had to do many sacrifices in order to go through the day, like using 3G instead of 4G or using the Macrodroid app to activate/deactivate the bt connection with my headset.

Why is the kospet prime 2 “dreaded”? and how is the optimus 2 wifi and bluetooth compared to kospet prime2?

Prime 2 is awesome.
Maybe he is referring to the Prime S?
There is no problem with the Prime S either, as long as you use it as intended.
It only ha 1gm ram and can’t be used with complex watch faces or lots of apps running at the same time…
But that’s obvious.
You don’t buy a watch with 1gb of ram and expect it to cope with these things.

So why call it the dreaded Prime 2 ? Its a great watch

Yes I understand.
But different factories use different methods and we can’t stop that.
This is why a warning was posted on the Prime 2 support thread.

It is rare, luckily.
But it happens occasionally.
This thread is getting out of hand.
Gonna have to move all the stuff unrelated to the Optimus 2

And yes, as @Dr_Andy_Vishnu says… Please do not slag something off just because you don’t agree with it.
The Prime 2 is one of the best devices on the market.
Regardless

So it maybe worth editing your above post as you caused the problem by accident

Ordered an Optimus 2 Sunday evening and it was at my door Tuesday @ 4pm! I’ve never gotten a FAW this quickly. I’m beyond happy with the purchase experience. @pablo11 - Thank you for the heads up on the s world premiere site AND the associated coupon.

While I’m in the process of setting up the watch, I must admit I feel like I’m taking a step backwards regarding the firmware. This is my first experience with OEM Android 10 firmware and it makes me appreciate even more the work that has been done on the FAW International version. I really hope the discussions with the ‘powers to be’ lead to this intl firmware being made available for this device.
