I usually have to unzip the watch faces and put them in the clockskin folder. Once I do this they do not show up. But if I go to the watch face store on the watch and download any random watch face from there when I go to select a new watch face Anything I’ve added before downloading from the watch face store shows up and can be found as soon as it reloads

But it is unlikely to change anything as they are almost identical and no issue like this was presented in v1.7 or the last v1.8.
It’s more likely an issue with drivers if transferring on a PC.
As @G1NT0N1C says, a factory reset is a good idea just in case.
If you flash the firmware you will need to factory reset anyway…
You will need to use the firmware upgrade option in the flash tool because v1.8 was not an upgrade path from 1.7.

It is best practice to use a PC USB port for first set up.
If you connect to a pc USB port and press and hold the power button and see if it boots, it may be worth trying.
Otherwise it needs to be returned to the place where you purchased it.
Kospet usually don’t respond to you if you purchased from another supplier.
As I said before, send me a message with the details if you did purchase from official Kospet store.
Is it 64gb storage or 128gb…?

You probably already know what I’m about to write, but to avoid the simple mistakes, I’ll mention it anyway. I apologize for that.
First of all, the ZIP files must be unpacked and moved to the Clockskin folder. If they are moved to the Clockskin folder as a ZIP file, they will not be displayed.
Also, I assume you already know that only clockskin watchfaces work? Installing watchfaces in “.Watch” format does not work with Stock launcher.
After installation you have to press and hold the active watchface. Then scroll to the bottom of the list and click the arrow. The list now moves back to the starting point. Now you should be able to find and select the newly installed watchface in the list.

Understood that it is an update-zip, and will most probably not work on/over stock firmware 1.8 having on watch, so it is best to first update-flash the older stock-firmware 1.4, if I understood right?

The support arm where my watchband attaches to my Lem12 Pro broke yesterday so I’m looking at the 128GB Optimus 2 to replace it. Does anyone know if the charging cables and charge dock are compatible between these two devices? They look similar, but I recall at least the Optimus Pro had warnings about different polarity on the charging cables. Would be nice to have an extra dock and cable with the new watch.

The cable will work. But I’m not sure about the charging dock.

As the pin layout is the same, cable should work.
But, I suspect that the rear cover of the two watches are different and therefore may not be able to sit on the same dock.
This shows what I mean…
Opt 2 is circular sensor array and LEM 12 is horizontal shape.
Both are raised and so will not be able to use the same dock.

Ah, I see. Thanks. Good to know the pins are compatible. In a pinch, I might be able to modify the old dock, but I plan to get the proper one when I order the new watch in any event. The picture comparison was very helpful!
This one really looks interesting, I wonder if that front camera can be used for face unlocking?
Yes it can.
I guess others on stock firmware can confirm, but they all support face unlock as far as I remember.

Brief announcement.
I am uploading V2.0 of the stock firmware.
It has some Bluetooth fixes for packet length, send and receive…
I will add it to the top of this thread when it’s done.
Unless you receive an OTA message, I doubt it will be sent over the air.

I just checked the lem12 charging dock with the Kospet Optimus pro2. It works fine, although they have different backsides.
