GPS work on your Rollme S08?
Prime twrp is fine but really you should just patch the boot image with magisk before you flash.
Transfer full magisk zip to storage on the watch.
Flash both patched boot and twrp and boot the watch.
Enable USB debugging and then adb reboot recovery and flash magisk zip.
Done.
Have you a problem with your GPS ? Why ask âŚ
Im interested in s08 but @Tan_Laz post some issues: no GPS signal bla bla. I wanna know that issues fixed on lastest firmware? Very like IP68 on S08 but if it is still error, maybe must to wait for new model watch âŚ
Hi , i recieved my SO8 two days ago. Gps locks fast and is accurate . I tested on a 10k run . One of our other mods @G1NT0N1C has swam with his with no issues
Hi, I just received Rollme S08 today and tried its different functions but unfortunately the mic is not working. I tried recording through Voice Recorder and Video recorder but I cannot hear anything and from Google Assistant, it does not indicate that it is recording my voice. My watchâs audio is fine. I can play youtube videos and it is playing its audio and I can hear notifications as well. So can anyone help with my mic problem?
Do you have it unlocked now? How âeasyâ is to unlock, so you can use it? Isnât there some kind of âresetâ that wipes it clean, so you can start over again?
Thanks.
Tony
Can you record several items all at once - like heartbeat, blood pressure, body temp.,⌠including at night the sleep quality âŚetc? If yes, what would be the best app for it?
How accurate is it?
Or is it SIMULATED xxx?
Thank you very much.
Tony
Yes the mic works fine on mine and actually has a very high quality IMO. As Dr_Andy_Vishnu said do a factory reset. If that doesnât fix it next thing Iâd try is flashing the firmware download from here in case there was corruption to the internal files used in the reset (doubtful but easy enough to test). The mic hole is just to the right of the front facing camera. You might want to make sure something isnât blocking it. I found that just putting a finger over it blocks normal talking almost completely.
I know that it has been mentioned above but can you guys who bought the watch, confirm the IP68 feature? Have you swimed in the sea or just in a pool with sweet water? Thank you in advance
One of the guys @G1NT0N1C has been swimming wearing his and it was fine.
Thatâs all we have managed to test so far and is a pretty good indication that itâs ok.
However, as we are not responsible for making the watch all we can do is test what we have. We cannot account for quality control for example.
But so far it has been fine.
Cheers
@pablo11 I perfectly understand that @G1NT0N1C have you tried the watch in the sea water? I think IP68 is about 1,5m in the sweet water?
no, I would not recommend salt water.
I agree with @G1NT0N1C
Any form of salt water presents the possibility of corrosion.
I would just not take the risk, no matter what anyone says is possible because of the charging contacts - for exampleâŚ
OK, thank you for your replies!
I already tried factory reset 3 times and mic is still not working and I also connected wireless headset and still voice is still not recording. Also, I have problem with charging. It is not charging properly. Sometimes it will say charging and later on, it wonât and while the device is still on, it will turn off when I plug the charger after like 30seconds (both direct USB cord and powerbank).
