Not quite that simple - auto sync is not working on these watches yet.
I am working on it with the firmware team at the moment…
I can do this but doing this I can use it together with the phone and smartwatch with phone will work at the meantime ?
About the firmware do you think that it will take some times months to be released with other functions? I’m asking you this because I’m thinking to return this watch to shipper…very poor of functions and battery not arrive after 8 hours…pls let me know thanks for your feedback and reply
Best regards
we can’t give you an answer about firmware cos we do’nt have the watch. About Whatsapp, yes, it should you do’nt have to put the sim in the watch just to install the app on the watch and when it ask for code verification just put it when you get it on the phone.
Yes - it can be used by wifi - but as I said…we are working on a fix for auto-sync at the moment.
People need to understand that these are first Android 7 watches. So we need time to get this working as expected.

Notification Filter works
Clear watch notifications works
Donations by Paypal works
Music selection works
Hadn’t got send sms to work yet - UPDATE: it works and able to receive sms
Google commands works

Date and time works
-
QR code on Watch Droid watch shows an error msg: “unable to recover MAC address API Level:24”
-
Need to test phone button - UPDATE: it works
It’s a start
I did find this article that should help alleviate some of the issues once the apk is updated to work properly for android 7: developer.android.com/about/versions/nougat/android-7.0-changes

I don't know to tell you the truth... But I have Managed to get the source for him now I will contact him again as soon as I can pass it on to him. That should make a lot of difference. I was just told by various people that WDroid is discomnecting randomly..... Anyway, it's gonna be fixed soon for sure. Thanks Splen
I haven’t had the disconnection issue yet.

That’s great news
A little while ago the Dev contacted me for the source code but it was for the 6580 chipset.
We just assumed that the problem would be worse with A7 6737 combinations.
But I guess it was mainly the BT calling app which interfered with WDroid after all. Now we don’t have that and it’s working fine again… Very good news.
Thanks Splen.
What is your experience with phone calls and data? Being in the USA I’m interested to know…
I have both T-Mobile (pay as you go) and AT&T sims. They both read 4G and 3G sporadically. I think the watch is a true 3G (HSPA+) and not 4G in the USA. I’m able to make & receive calls with no problems. No issues with text msgs.

Yep, calls are through 2g or 3g so no problem there.
4G data might work on T Mobile but not AT&T. Mr Ticks has tried many times…

When I make a call and call is in progress there is a pic of a red phone and also the bluetooth symbol.
Yep, I think that is normal.

If you use Watch Droid you can't use the QR code or the built-in BT app. You have to pair your phone and watch using the instructions that the Watch Droid developer gives in the play store or on his website.
What is it that you want to achieve by using Watch Droid?

1. go to google playstore and download watch droid assistant to your watch. And download watch droid phone to your phone. Notice please that they are 2 different apps. You need both for it to work.
-
Next open watch droid phone on your phone. You will see connect your device. Ignore the ‘scan QR code’, instead click on the word ‘Select’
-
There you will see a list of Synced devices. If you have already synced your LEM 7, it should be on this list, if not close app, go to bluetooth settings and sync, then come back to this app and it should be on the list.
-
You can then go to the settings link for watch droid phone and change any settings.
-
Next go to your watch and open Watch droid assistant. It should connect.
-
Play around with it until you get the hang of things.
Fantastic guide +splen
Thanks very much
Watch droid on phone: I am able to transfer my watch faces in zip format into folder clockskin on watch. After transfer I used es file explorer to unzip, then reboot watch…works great…but faster on pc.
Yep, I guess it would always be - but it’s great to use when no pc is available
Something I am really interested in - and can’t test until my partners in Shenzhen send me one - is if you can have Watch Droid and WiiWatch2 installed and be able to use one or the other without failure.
If this is possible it will be the almost perfect solution for many
Thanks +splen
