Thanks for your answers Sonia and Pablo. I really don't know what happened but this morning after playing with the airplane mode desperately, the watch found the sim card again. That can seem strange but I can tell you that I've spent hours in the settings to try to sort out this issue. I will keep you updated if I meet this issue again. Good day.

Thanks for the update. The reason I mentioned what I said before is because there was a known issue with the older firmware version. Which FW version do you have? You can check by going to your watch Settings and then "about watch" You can find details of the current version there.

This is version v2.4. There seems to be a v2.5. I understand that the workaround is to update the setting as you mentionned.

I found the culprit of the Sim not detected problem I had. One of the contacts barely touched the Sim. I tried to push it up so it would make good contact with the Sim surface but I broke the pin. So now I have to buy a SIM tray and solder it… I’m not sure I will go this way… I will most likely upgrade to the X, when the reviews are out.

V2.5 solves the network defaulting to 2G. Most of us can't use 2G and so it appeared to have lost network due to this problem. In v2.5 the watch should use 4G for both calls and data.... So the problem went away. It's working for me and reports from others are also good.

Cheers, I will update to v2.5 soon. I'm meeting a few other minor issues and hopefully some will be resolved with this version (screen sometimes not showing when raising hand, unexpected stop of fitness app, struggling when importing google contacts, call history not showing contact name but phone number, MMS containing image fails to show). Although this is plain that the watch is yound and needs improvements, I'm fairly happy with the watch usage so far.

friends, I ask for help! is there any way to teach these hours to turn off and turn on at the set time?

Is it fully charged?

Have you tried to flash it? I ask this because it looks like a partly failed flash.

No I have not flashed it. Can you please guide me or share a doc that describes how to do that?

In the LEM7 firmware post…
There are instructions.
On our YouTube channel is a video for flashing - the link is embedded in the banner at the top of the forum.
You will need to install the MTK VCOM drivers.
I suggest that you research it thoroughly first. It is important to understand the process completely before you attempt it.

Make sure that the watch is fully charged before you start…

Hi, just wanted to give an update a few days after flashing to v2.5. To be honnest, I still meet a few issues. The fitness app still crashes, heartrate rarely showing in fitness app, call history showing phone numbers rather than contact names, image in MMS not showing ... The improvements I have seen : screen now showing better when raising the hand, google contacts synchronized properly. Is there another firmware being built for fixing these issues ? By the way is there a list of known issues with v2.5?

did you use upgrade option?

Hi Sonia, I have used the “Download + reset equipment” approach from the firmware topic at the bottom.

There are 3 options.
Download only.
Firmware Upgrade
Download + format all.
Our installation instructions say that you should use download only or firmware upgrade.

If you used download + format all you will probably lose your IMEI number and other very important information. You must never use this option.

So which one did you use?

1. do another reset to the watch.

2.I DID NOT KNOW THAT:) most likely you need to reset the watch, i’ve checked mine and it works:)

3.you need to remember that if you sync contacts from phone to watch make sure they all on your accounts and phone and not just the sim.

4.mms wo’nt be shown if it is’nt part of your cellular company agreement.

I have used “download only”. Immediatly after, I have “reset equipment” on the watch as per instructions.
Cherry on the cake, the sim card is not recognised again since yesterday… I got the same issue previously even.

Thanks Sonia, basically what you are saying is that I should not see anyone of these issues with v2.5? If so, I will flash again with “firmware upgrade”. (Just reset my equipment again btw)

what is weird i had these issues after i’ve updated to v2.4 but so far with v2.5 no issues.
