Just remember that the warranty is void once you open it up.
The fact that mine is fine but Sonia’s and yours are not means it’s a random problem.
If you want me to talk to Lemfo - I will.

No. Same original cable. I added screenshots in original post, please check
Try swapping the cable at least. This is the first thing to try. Attach your phone to the same charger and check the results.
Have you tried holding the power button in for 40 seconds and see if you feel vibration or see screen activity… It normally forces a reboot.
If this does not work you can try flashing the firmware.
You need to install the required drivers included in the FW package here on the forum.
If this does not work you can talk to the people who sold it to you.
1) LEM7 cable was able to charge the phone and also data transfer 2) New phone cable was also able to generate the red light on LEM7 powerbank, but did not boot up the screen, so not charging the watch 3) I think unless watch boots, there is no way to flash firmware 4) I bought it from official Lemfo store on AliXpress - Do you think I should ask them to replace?

What happens when you press and hold the red button for 30 - 40 seconds?
And yes, you can flash the firmware if the watch does not boot

If you download the FW package and install the drivers correctly I will remote to your computer using Team Viewer and check it out.
Please make sure you install the drivers correctly.

Nothing happens on pressing and holding the red button for 30 - 40 seconds - no vibration, no screen boot. Is it then still possible to flash the watch again - how?

You can flash a watch even with no battery connected. The bootloader is activated using a special com port driver and usb power from your pc. It is designed for rescuing the device. MTK provides this bootloader specifically so that no power to the pcb is required.
If this fails then the watch will be replaced

Ok, no worries. If you install the drivers on Windows 10 or Windows 8 make sure you you disable driver signing before you install. Google it if you are not sure how to disable driver signature enforcement.
Ok, it’s getting late here in Australia and I’ve been working all day. It’s 10.17pm now.
I don’t think I will be able to do this tonight.
I’m sorry but I have a family and other responsibilities.
Maybe tomorrow?

Morning Pablo . Any word on the dodgy antenna’s in straps ? I’m a bit reluctant to open seal on straps to have a look ? What do you think 🤔
Do you need GPS enough to give a xxxx? I would understand it if you needed gps enough to warrant opening up the strap but knowing you - I get the feeling that this is just bugging you
If you are dead set on looking into it I would remove the rear cover and look for obvious physical connection problems with the antenna.
Just remember that the warranty is void once you open it up.

To be honest i dreamt of running / music / gps with sim as well and living happily ever after mate but hey ho ![]()
Bugs me yes as usual just wondered if its was widespread etc
Never mind . Thanks for getting back to me mate

It’s frustrating to hear and I wish I could do more to help…
I seriously don’t understand this issue unless it is an assembly issue at the factory. I see no other explanation.
If mine is fine and yours is not, what else can it be?
I have to notify Lemfo regardless… But I don’t know if this will help you

Hi Pablo and Sophie - I followed the instructions you gave on the forum and also referred the video. After installing the driver (unsigned), I was able to finally flash the firmware [in Upgrade mode] - and the watch restarted again. Then I did ‘reset equipment’ too - and is working fine now. THANK YOU!!

UPDATE 1 - A bit weird but still - After flashing the firmware the smartwatch works fine, however, the SIM card is able to receive SMS, but no calls (Incoming or outgoing) and internet. I transferred this SIM to phone, and it works absolutely fine [Call + Internet + SMS].
Any suggestions on how to enable calls and internet on the watch - the first time I received the watch, everything worked on this SIM by default.
UPDATE 2 - I checked again. Calling works sometimes, not always, even after setting the network to 3G. Mobile data connection doesn’t work at all, however, WiFi internet works fine. GPS works only when I am connected to WiFi internet (I can see accurate location in Maps), however, after turning Wifi off - GPS doesn’t work. I downloaded ‘GPS Test’ application and it doesn’t lock in the satellites.
