LEMFO LEM7 - Discussion thread

It has been talked about already.
It is a problem with default band for calls not sticking after reboot.
If you leave the band set to 4G it will use 2G for calls.
2G is almost completely gone and so does not work for calls.
I have set mine to 3G for both data and calls until the fix is available.

Did the GPS problem has been sorted out? I have the problem and updated a post a few pages back, would like a solution other than sending the watch, I would like to run with the GPS on but it doesn’t work, tried everything (other than opening the watch).

i will check this issue on the weekend to see if there is something that can be done, will notify here.

I noticed quite a while ago but want to verify the reason why pure black is not used… It seems to me that a dark red has been used for black backgrounds, instead of pure black (which should save some power on the amoled screen)

Did you try bending straps outwards until gps locks like mine to establish faulty hardware ?

So gps works only if you wear your smartwatch upside down? Now THAT is a smart watch…

Thank you. My gps is definitely not working…

How many have the GPS not working? Any fix other than returning it?

Mine is working fine. I've tried to see if bending the band would make a difference or not and it seems to be better at receiving the signal when 'flat'. When attached to my arm, reception is a bit worse, but still acceptable.

Usually a nightmare returning from UK to china . Tried years ago and royal mail refused to let me send back to china ( as china wont allow ? ) . They gave me paperwork , rules etc to confirm this . In the end i gave up …

Brand New Lem7 just arrived.
So far everything works fine except I cannot activate the USB-Mode. The word USB is grayed and doesn’t respond. Can anyone help?

Sometimes I get this. Simply unplug everything from the pc and the charging base. Plug the base in the PC first then put the watch on it. It does the trick for me.

1. make sure usb mtp is installed:
  1. connect the watch to your pc via charging dock.

  2. go to settings - usb - select the second one.

***it stays greyed when watch is’nt connected to pc.

Also if you are still having an issue, Mr. Ticks, on his You Tube Channel, "Smartwatch Ticks" has a video titled Lem 7 "Five Things You Need to Know" and one of the things he covers is how to connect for data transfer.

pablo11, can you check if your gps works on your lem7 with the zeblaze firmware… I have another lem7 on 2.4 and gps locks properly. On the lem7 I have on the zeblaze fw, I don’t even see a gps using the gps tool.

Thank you

So will the GPS thing ever get fixed?
