yep, i’ve understood that the new watches will be with android 7.0 from pablo11 i liked the power bank that it has but i’ll wait for the kingwear or microwear watches.
Just curious to know why you want to wait for the KW or MW instead of the Lemfo? On another note, I like the bigger battery of the LEM7 compared to my LES1 (but very similar design!)
I’m having trouble with the raise to see display function in the watch… anyone else having this problem ?
I’m having trouble with the raise screen wake function. Any one else having this problem ?

have you upgraded the watch to v2.4? bugs are fixed, i think it is better to wait for all A7 watches to come out before making any decisions, i have the lem7 and it is great with battery life. do'nt forget that the i7 from IQI is also coming out and the more the better:)

Thankyou . Very much appreciated !
Again , thanks
Help needed: I’m trying to upgrade the firmware, but I can’t even switch the USB option under Settings to “Transfer Files.” As a matter of fact, the only setting that can be activated is “Charge this device.” Is there any way to fox this?

Yep I did. Here is the result from the engineering app.
But, I still need to talk to Sophie and find out what happened.
I’ve been caught up with work last couple of days…
Figured our what is wrong . Its 100% the antenna’s in the strap . GPS locked quick if i took off watch and slightly bent straps out over . As soon as i move straps to a more closed position the GPS instantly drops to nothing . Did this around twenty times and same results . I could turn gps on / off quickly by bending straps ![]()

You are the second person to have the strap antenna issue. Lemfo are getting the info from here…
I get proper notifications on my watch now.
When a text arrives the screen lights up and displays the message perfectly.
To get it working you have to install Heads Up Notifications from the Play Store.
Configure the app to turn the screen on and that’s it, done.
Works on all of our watches and does a great job.

My LEM7 screen was on when charging. Also, when powering up the watch, it was making a "song" and when restarting, it was also doing a "song" (like all Lemfo watches) when booting and the Zeblaze firmware don't so it suits my needs better for now...!
Ok thanks. That is absolutely terrible. The watch should remain powered on when charging but the screen always turns off after the time out is reached as set in display settings.
So there was definitely a problem with the watch set up the way it was.
Did you take the OTA when you were using the LEM7 firmware?
If so did you factory reset?
I would be very interested to hear what it would be like if you flashed the full firmware package posted here for the LEM7. But understand that it is a pain having to flash again…
I would also be interested to hear what your gps is like using the Thor 4 firmware.
OK…
- I had done the upgrade via OTA first, flashed the Thor firmware then back to 2.4 and the watch stays off after the timeout, must have been something with the OTA I made wrong (like, mistake on my side)
- I never used the GPS on the watch before so can’t say if it was working on the LEM7 firmware but i’m back on the Zeblaze firmware and it’s not working, I just tried the “banding strap trick” and it also don’t workbut, how could I use the “enginerring app” to see the GPS lock? Interested in that to see if it shows a few and will let you know what I get with a screenshot, the GPS is selected to “device only”. Let me know if you need further information.
I’m on build KY_THOR4_20180612

I’m hoping the bands / antenna’s are not loose / badly connected on most . Mine certainly is . Nothing to do with firmware / Ota updates etc

I think this may be a network related problem. Do you only have the issue with the cellular data or WiFi or both?
Both. There are times where it happens while I am out using the SIM and also when I am home on WiFi. From my side, it feels like the notification process gets stuck and then once I open an app, it starts up again and I get all the notifications from different apps that are built up in one hit.
Hi, still having issues with delayed/queued notifications. However, thinking now it may be more to do with the apps and how often they are syncing rather than notifications as SMSs show up straight away reliably. pablo11, do you know if there is an optimisation that would be turning off the regular sync while the watch is on standby to conserve power? I have duraspeed, intelligent battery power saving, and data saver turned off.
Has anyone been able to get Magisk Manager working to patch boot image yet?

Not yet, the se Linux version is bad for patching. But, I have a new FW coming which I requested to have it fixed so we can patch it. It's coming soon. Hopefully this week
After this we can use twrp and tasker, Greenify etc with reasonable results…
