LEMFO LEM14 Comes With NFC & 5ATM Waterproof - FALSE

The specs I have posted are correct.
Although the front camera maybe slightly less than 2mp sensor…
But either way, perfectly acceptable for a front facing camera.
So I don’t think you should worry about it.

I am talking about Banggood and not you Pablo. I trust your specs rather than any others! Thank you.

how soon Mt TICKS will have the watch for review , i hope they are the real specification and will decide what i am going to do, if it’s IP67 i will cancel, so Pablo Lemfo or Banggood who’s lying.
How Lemfo and the manufacturer permit this type of promotion advertising, i will watch the video of the rollme to see the waterprofing.
thanks Pablo .
Happy new year.

I’ve also preordered the LEM14 to secure the early bird pricing - however if the specs are going to be so vastly different, I’ll probably cancel.

It’ll be interesting to see how people react when they realize they’ve ordered falsely advertised products :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

OMG we still trusting them.
Please Pablo we want to know the truth

That the initial specifications were wrong and are going to be corrected has already been told weeks ago.

You can trust @pablo11, he’s in contact with most manufacturers here, so if he says the LEMFO LEM14 will have a 5 and a (sub-)2 MP camera, and the battery will be 1.100mAh instead of the advertised 1.600mAh, you can rest assured, @pablo11 has the correct specs.
BTW, back in November, when the LEM14 campaign has been launched, the specs had NFC too - the smaller battery and worse cams as well as IP67 instead of IP68 are known since then.

It’s still really good watch at this price IMO.

I agree with you.
I don’t see any reason for making stuff up.
It’s good enough to sell with the specs it really has.
It’s pretty good value as far as I know.

I don’t see any reason for making stuff up.

Well someone at Banggood (or wherever) has gone to town making :poop: up.

The fact that that the LEM14 been falsely advertised on Banggood for nearly two months and never corrected (besides NFC) is an extremely poor reflection on the competency/business ethics of Banggood, LEMFO etc. To date, it appears over 200 LEM14 preorders have been placed based on fraudulent specs!

All it ever required was a single email from LEMFO to Banggood along the lines of:

Hi Banggood, the LEM14 specs that you so lovingly published look great - but unfortunately they are wrong! Lets fix this by…

It boggles the mind that this has not happened …

Just so you know…
This LEM14 is two x 2mp camera
No NFC
Not 5ATM
Lemfo are very angry about this false advertising

That was November 20.

Lemfo couldn’t have been that angry if nothing was ever done to rectify the fraudulent specs .

On a side note, I chatted yesterday to a customer rep (Grant) at Banggood and they are sticking by the published specs.

Well, I have done my best to help you all by showing you the correct specifications.
I really don’t care if anyone believes me or not.
But just so you know, I went through Hell with the people who supplied this model to Lemfo because I challenged them about the real specifications.

You may ask yourself "how does Pablo11 know what is real or not )

Well it’s simple, I am a consulting partner of the company that makes the firmware for all these devices.

There is nothing in it for me to lie about this stuff

Pablo - I 100% appreciate what you are doing and am grateful that you are giving us a heads-up on numerous red flags regarding the LEM14 specs.

My frustration is solely with Banggood/LEMFO

Oh I see.
Sorry.
Well the fact is that lemfo did not make those advertising materials.
They were very sad when I told them the truth…
It’s not Lemfo’s fault

Which puzzles me - as Chinese business partners, surely LEMFO (especially when they are angry about it) can request Banggood to correct the false advertising.

Alternately LEMFO could issue an official statement/tweet/anything about the LEM14. It could be a basic as saying

“Official LEM14 specs have not been released. Please ignore other published specs until then.”

And if Banggood is to blame, surely its in Banggood’s best interest to publish genuine specs on their website?

What am I missing here? None of it makes any sense.

*Yes I’m annoyed but on a business level I also find the whole situation fascinating :sunglasses:

I don’t believe it is Banggoods fault either.
I suspect they are doing what they have been asked to do.
I don’t know who’s pulling the strings but the main thing is that you all know the truth.

At the end of the day, as I pointed out to the people involved - this device is good enough and there was no need to try and boost figures.
It’s a good value watch anyway…

Of course it’s Banggood’s fault - they are (knowingly) generating sales from fraudulent product specs.

If its on Bangood’s website, its Bangood’s fault - irrespective of who may be pulling the strings in the background.
