My opinion is that it will make absolutely no difference to the Genesis because the Genesis is not a sealed watch.

Just a note of thanks to all those that offered assistance in my trek to upgrade my Prime. As it turns out, whenever and wherever i downloaded the file (2.0, 2.1, 2.3) for some reason (probably Windows Defender/ OS updates) the entire file was not being extracted, hence my various and consistent errors. I ended up borrowing an older PC and was able to flash without a problem. This board and specifically the board community are a treasure and very much appreciated.

Would be interested to hear what version of Windows gave you problems.
I use the very latest Windows 10 but I have kaspersky.
Windows Defender is so paranoid that it blocks far more stuff than needed 
To be honest AV software is very often the cause of issues. As well as incorrect drivers.

I have windows 10 (x64) installed with defender on three of my computers. I don’t have any problems installing the firmware.

Windows 10 (v1909): 32bit OS; x64bit based processor.
The machine I used hadn’t been updated since May 2019;-)
Now when i have a sound problem i bring the air in / out in the hole with my mouth and it works.

We dont recommend blowing into watches for lots of obvious reasons . However i did do this on another watch as a last resort with a similar problem and it worked . As for the rest of your post i have no idea what you are talking about.

If you are using square screen mode pop ups should be ok.
I don’t have this issue
If you can take a photo to show me I will see what I can do.
Third party app mode normally deals with this as well as square screen mode.

I have installed version 2.4B.
the time of my watch is 24h, and the time of standby mode and 12h there is an option to set the standby time in 24h?
there is another problem : I cannot use the applications which are on the left or right side of the launcher
I hate that launcher so I don’t bother with it and maybe it is why I have not noticed.
I will test it…
Not sure what you mean by standby time is not in 24 hr?
