Kospet Prime firmware Updated 18 Sept 2020

Kospet make us a PRIME with rectangular screen version OLED this time, please, thank you.

Oh, No, please make that an other model. I chose the Prime among other things because it is round.

Is the latest version (2.3) available as an OTA for all regions? i’ve been trying with no luck. I tried to flash 2.3 but flash tools won’t even load the scatter file due to a Checksum System error siimilar to what I ran into with 2.1 above. Exact error:

Any help/direction is greatly appreciated in advance.

do you have a stable internet connection? and what program do you use to unpack the firmware?
You can check the md5 checksum of the .7z file in powershell like this (to see if the problem is with the unpacking or downloading):

so for the 2.3 version the checksum should be 5c2a63fd9fd7a92a371ea4078f04730a

Running fiber and steady. D/L 2.3 firmware and sp flash tools from kospet site since I was having issues before. RAR extractor is used to extract. From what I can tell the error is saying the system file in the image file is corrupt, right? So, maybe extracting again may fix issue?

try running it CheckSum_Gen.exe from the cmd program (black screen)

You can remove the checksum exe from the firmware folder.
It is there for firmware upgrade integrity check and is not really needed.
I have flashed it many times and I never leave the checksum exe in the folder.

Giorgios, I have the same sound problem but I was strongly advised against doing that by @pablo11

Have you flashed the most recent version?

sorry, I think my problem is hardware related, I received a partial refund for it, I was just pointing out that you told me that pressing the air pressure button was bad, just to warn other users.

It works for me and I really don’t think that it will harm your device to press the air pressure button… I think that’s why it is easily accessible. You release the pressure inside the watch…

how do you press it? with your finger, with a toothpick inside the tiny hole?

There is a pressure issue on some.
There is a one way pressure relief valve in the rear cover. A tiny little hole.
You can very carefully try to press it in with LIGHT pressure. Maybe with a paperclip end.
See if it helps.

Only if you still have the problem

@Roberto_Gasdia I see
So you don’t have the watch anymore?
You are correct, I don’t recommend this. It is a last resort for people who have muffled sound issues.
I mostly say do not do it because if too much force is used to press it - it will break.
Has to be done extremely gently

@Roberto_Gasdia i use a needle…You have to use something that is a lot smaller from the hole (not a toothpick, for example, that fits perfectly to the hole), you have to leave space to the air to come out. (I suppose that) the air comes out from the same hole, not from speakers.
@pablo11 Have you thought that if the Genesis had an air pressure release button,it would be much easier for the moist to come out? Maybe the moist is trapped hot air tha has been liquified? Just a thought

I do still have the watch, I’m going to try the procedure with something tiny but blunt, if I can find it
I’ll be gentle
