Kospet Prime firmware Updated 18 Sept 2020

If you go into ‘Settings’ then ‘About watch’ you’ll see ‘Wireless Update’. Strongly suggest only doing it if you are connected to Wifi unless you have unlimited ‘mobile data’.

Yes i do that…Every other day. Never do I get an OTA always says my watch is up to date. I find that strange, as almost everybody seems to get them. I never got one…

Thnx for responding.

why not flashing V2.3B manually? I have already checked it out and it seems to be fine. So, if you did it before, try this one out. It is worth it.

Hello
Thank you @pablo11 for new update!
But @pablo11 :
ro.build.version.security_patch=2018-05-05
This is a last security patch level?
Rgards

Yes ok I will do that…but the question remains, why don’t I get any OTA? Is it something in settings that I have to do?
Thanks for your response
Great work you all do over there.

Do not worry. OTA does not know 1.8. OTA only works if you have 1.7 or 2.0 in your watch.

Yep,. That’s true .
It will be looking for the recent version of production firmware.
It’s not anything to worry about.
Just flash the new version.

@droidtrix the false positive your AV scanner found could be the checksum exe .
It’s not a problem and it’s not needed either really.
I usually remove it but might have left it in a version…

Hi, Roy
When I updated my kospet Prime from V1.5B to V1.7B , I could receive any OTA from my watch!

P. S. At first, link to any Wi-Fi , and then check the update from watch!

Easier to just flash the new version.
Why go back and then forward?

Hi Pablo 11 ,
I guess, Roy maybe just want to know… Why his watch could not receive any new OTA like others !!

Yes, that’s why I posted this earlier.
Because this IS the reason.
It’s well known and is discussed many times before in this thread.

So, because we know what the issue is there is no point in flashing older firmware just to be able to receive the ota.
Just flash the most recent and everything will be fine.
Cheers.

Hi pablo11, I have never used the SP Flashtool version v5.1952 that is at the top of this thread but had used several other versions before I got on this forum for various MTK cell phones. They all seemed to have trojans or a virus in them according to the website virustotal.com which uses about 60 different AV products to check any program you upload there. In the past I always ran Shadow Defender when using the SP Flashtool as it locks down your system so no changes can be made to your hard drives until you reboot. Basically it freezes your system to prevent any virus infections or trojans from causing any damage. When I got on this forum and realized I would likely be flashing the Kospet I looked for the newest version of SP Flashtool. It checks as being totally clean. I just realized you have a link at the top of the thread for v5.1952 but also have a link to the https://androidmtk.com/smart-phone-flash-tool where I got the latest one (currently v5.2020). I just now ran a check on the v5.1952 and like the newer version it is also clean (no virus or trojan). :+1:

Yes, V.3.0B should be great firmware. It is said that it is then possible to cut through metal grids with the light from the heartrate sensor.

I heard this also along with a " teleport " system like on " Star Trek " :+1:

Nahhh, You are all dreaming. The real news is that 3.0b will have a popup 3D Holographic display with large fonts and the ability to tap in the hologram above the watch face to choose items.
