@floon yes - but it always turns back off right?
It is a function to notify the watch if it is being worn or not.

hello pablo11 ,
I had not noticed before .
the sensor goes out by itself ?

It is an excellent function, the recording of heart beats remains even on the watchface and does not consume battery.

Hello, i stayed on 1.8b (no OTA 2.0) and the heart beats sensor does not turn ON itself.

Correct.
It is not included in the older versions.
Cheers

it lights by itself ! but it goes out by itself?

Yes.
But there are many circumstances that can cause this to happen more than usual.
Like:
The launcher you are using.
The watch face you are using.
Fitness apps you are using.

Stock behaviour is the pulse light will come on and go off sometimes to check if the watch is on your wrist. In the newer versions of firmware.

Any other behaviour could be due to the reasons above.

OK thank you for this info

The battery on 2.0b is better than 1.8b and no heating?

yes in my case a battery increase with ver. 2.0 about 20%

This time i will wait the OTA, i check again but i not OTA for 2.0b, why ?

Hi i just bought a kospet prime se. it has a firmware of 1.4 April 2020
any ideas how to upgrade firmware on a mac.
thanks

Hi and welcome.
If you have checked for an OTA update on the watch and there is one-then that’s great.
If no update us available then that is the way it is.

Please don’t flash the normal Prime firmware or you will not be able to use your watch.
Cheers.

Hi . There is no way this is possible using a Mac . As mentioned above you can only do this with a " over the air update " or flash with a windows pc . Welcome

thanks for quick reply. kinda works ok as it is so will just wait for OTA.

malo

@Vinzie I am curious because the OTA has been published for a couple of weeks at least.
I have a couple of questions:
a) where are you (which country)
b) are you using Wi-Fi to check for updates?
c) how are you checking for the update?

Hi pablo11
I am in nz
I am using wifi
I am in settings ‘@about watch’, then clicking on wireless update.

Is that correct procedure

That is correct.
Have you flashed firmware before?
