Could be safest download than firmware upgrade? I don’t know, just guessing.
I always use the firmware upgrade option then do a full reset afterwards

I have the 3+32 version. In the end I did factory reset both before and after firmware update. I ve only had the last 1.8 passed version from may for a couple of days, but it’s pretty good so far, the initial 1.8 version from april was also good (is there even a significant difference between them?). All in all, I’m happy with the update.

I find that disappointing. This forum is supposedly a support forum for Kospet, with people who have contacts into the Kospet team. And you do an amazing job of helping and advising the forum users. But why are no one using this influence to pressure Kospet to provide the Firmware updates ?
@Dotsfar I have to confess that I don’t understand this post. We are not only “supposedly” the support forum for Kospet. We actually are. All firmware updates, including the smaller ones, are available for download here immediately. For people who do not understand enough of the matter to manually install an update, all important updates are also made available to OTA. So what exactly do you miss?
We have a very close and good cooperation with Kospet. Why and what should we “pressurize” Kospet ??? This is not how trusting cooperation works …

Looking back in forum posts, you must have noticed that many people wish for OTA updates of their Prime. This is what I miss, as you would also be aware, when reading my post question:

This new post was a reaction to the fact that apparently no one was, as no one was answering that question.
Our watches are sold with V1.5 and we are now 3 updates further I notice, but still the v1.5 does not find a OTA update, which must mean that no one placed it on the update server.
So what I request is that you use your influence to remind them that this is a wish from the users. I by pressure I do not mean to twist anyones arm, or even please don’t give them same kind of nicknames you gave me, surely that doesn’t help with cooperation. By pressure I simply mean to state the wish, and then now and then remind them until it happens. And this was what I meant when asking whether anyone was working on getting the new firmware as OTA.
It was a typo. Corrected.
Please understand that not every update is worth to be pushed OTA. Personally, I rolled back to 1.6. Because on this version all of the new Arraytypes and Rotation values are working.

It sounds like you prefer 1.6 over 1.5, and that is just what I request, that this option is then made available to all of us as OTA

The differences are tiny. A few more words in the library if I remember correctly.
Again, if there is something great new, something everyone must have, a blockbuster… it will be available OTA.
If v2.0 is successful they may send it as an OTA.
I will ask them today.
One thing they will not do is send an OTA for an older version.
Anyway, I will talk to them today.

Rotation Value 13 does not work in this version either. The latest version with a fully functional face engine is still V1.6.
