Hello Pablo, thanks for the update i will staying testing and if i find some bugs, i will keep this post updated.
Bugs:
Rise hand to wake not working.
Multitask list of apps, can’t do back gesture to return to previous screen.
Wifi and Bluetooth unstable. Wifi sometimes disconnects from AP (i change my home internet to optic fiber). BT disconnects from phone saying that needs a pin. Additionally, i did a full watch reset and reset connections to check and doesn’t works.
I reinstalled the firmware that was in the watch as original. Your unofficial new system has a big bug. When you turn on the battery saver, it turns on a black screen with white letters that can’t be cancelled. The watch dies. Or am I doing something wrong
Fingers crossed and waiting for your awesome work just please help us understabmd what should we (people that are allready on your version of firmware) do to update
I tried that, but the option to turn off the mode was not there and scrolling through the menu was not possible. I won’t try it again, I reinstalled the firmware.
Since we are communicating, I stopped using google translator and am trying DeepL Translator. How do you display my texts? Is it easy to understand?
So, with the latest update released in the first post (…v9.156.1) my primary concern listed in the above post has been resolved. Namely, the sound notifications for text/sms are working AFTER I turned on the “Other Notifications”. I don’t remember this switch in the earlier release, but then, I’ve been known to have ‘senior’ moments with failing eysight;-) Nevertheless, thank you and the team this resolution.
I’m continuing to use and will identify any issues found with my daily use. Just know, the team working on this ‘unbranded’ firmware are truly in touch with the user’s needs and concerns. Congrats again…
I think the “lift to wake” function is not working in this new firmware version. I have it enabled but couldn’t get to work. May someone test it to see if it just with me, please?
I’ve managed to lock my watch again (LAUNCHER).I couldn’t get to the dial, only to the menu where there is shutdown, restart, etc.
I have the Button Mapper app. I recommend the full version of this app. It can launch the voice assistant and get into the settings. Then all I had to do was uninstall that nonsense.
Wouldn’t it be possible to add a “settings” icon to the restart, shutdown, etc.?
(Long Press escape button)
First post updated with legacy update zip for people using stock firmware and a flash tools version for anyone using previous FAW version that may not have the wireless update app included.
Thank you for the update and also for the instructions on how to install it. I couldn’t have done it without it. Everything works, even the battery saver disappeared and that’s probably a good thing. The text of the SMS message still doesn’t fit all on the screen but it’s usable now. If you name your alarm clock the name will cover the control button when you start it, but that’s a minor thing. Mainly if the battery lasts at least from morning to evening with SIM and data activated and a few calls and SMS. Thank you for giving your great work for free to all owners of this great watch.
hi im currently on the previous FAW version, i cant get windows 10 to connect to lem12pro anymore to use the new flash tools version, ive tried everything reinstalled drivers, different usb ports/usb cable and a different pc is it possible to get the wireless update app on the previous FAW firmware somehow so i can use the legacy update.zip? thank you in advance
