I was thinking that it could be nice if we as a community could make a spreadsheet to compare all kinds of FullAndroidWatches (hardware) with their specs.
I’ve been working on my own Excel-Sheet with about 17 watches (from Lemfo, Rogbid, Lokmat Kospet, …) till now.
Thanks, this is a sensible idea.
I think it is worth noting that recording details of watches that are no longer available should be marked as such.
In reality, there are not too many watches available to purchase that are supportable.
I would make sure that you record these key points because:
a) it’s obviously important to know if they are still on sale.
b) it’s very important for people to understand if a watch is supported (this means: reputable brand, firmware is available, etc…)

Watches are tough. People usually buy based on appearance, style, brand, price. Few consider them to be a computer on your wrist that should be upgrade-able, have new apps, tailor-able to your needs.
Combine this with the language barrier, fly by night pop up electronics companies, inconsistent hw releases for same name…and of course cost and you have the mess we have in “smart” watches. Anything can be called a smart watch. I had a programmable Casio from the 90’s…it was a smart watch and people wrote apps for it. Wife and kid have a “smart” watch from this year…it’s not programmable and cannot load new apps. I think it’s dumb.

What is an “Android Watch”. Some people think a dumb smart watch that connects to an Android phone, some a Wear OS, few a wow this runs Android 11 and connects to the play store.
It is a mess out there. I’ve been trying to find my next smart watch. Hackable, decent OS, large app store (fdroid please)…and I’m not even mentioning features (HR, SO2, ECG, BP, transflective, barometric, …)
A total cluster.
$300 for a smart watch…not an issue $600 if I knew I’d buy one and keep it 5 years and not be locked into some crappy privacy invading eco system. (what would I do without NetGuard)
ok, enough whining…this may help. just a list of a bunch of Full Android watches with estimates of year release. Pulled from a youtube site that reviews tons of watches. This has inaccuracies. Really should be merged with the spreadsheet and then loaded into a database.
ps- I still havent found the perfect Full Android watch…not too big, transflective, with lots of health bits…gonna have to give up the health to find hackable, transflective, smaller screen.

I guess it should be mentioned somewhere that over 80% of the watches that are listed here are no longer in production and are not available.
Whilst this type of data is historically interesting, it can cause a little confusion for new FAW users or someone looking to buy their first watch.
I think a sensible way forward would be to have a list of historical devices and a separate list for devices that are actually available.
Unfortunately, the effort required to maintain the lists with up to date information is high.
This is why we don’t do it.

Also, dresser drawers are filled with FAWs that someone else may want (KhronsBlade Genesis anyone?) but they are abandoned forgotten. I’d like that idea about a sales forum materialize.
Also, I’m chatty, got hit with the you cant reply as you’ve been talking to yourself and replied 3 times in a row.
What I’m finding is that maybe we need a wiki? Loving my new APPLLP 9 and have my own wiki with tricks/todos/…
A wiki would easily allow us to have a “currently shipping” page vs a “historical watches” page.
Do the fullandroidwatch.org owners want to add one?
