Brand new Prime 2 not charging

Please follow the same steps.
It’s a shame that they did not get sent together but you didn’t know about the problem, so just bad luck I guess :sweat:

mine died the same way. battery drain while shut down. I got it a few %, flashed the firmware and used it for 5-6 mins then it died. It’s really, really dead.

can i ask something…it seems like lately there are a lot of prime 2 that stop charging… had the same with mine and are waiting for my replacement in the post…is there a possibility to adress this issue with kospet so they can check what is at fault? would be maybe easier to tackle the fault at homebase instead of having to send watches back…just an idea…

It was addressed by end of January this year.
So some unlucky people who purchased before then or received older stock recently MIGHT have the issue.

For example, mine is from December last year and is still fine.

Hi Pablo,

I finally got the opportunity to send the 2 watches back to Kospet today. United States Postal Service is about a 2 week window but with all the shipping problems worldwide lately, I’d say 3 weeks so I think they should have them in hand by the end of May. I Sent an email as well, giving them a heads up that they are coming and included a boatload of pics, a copy of the receipt and tracking number.

I appreciate you keeping an eye on things.

i am starting to worry… i sent mine back more then a month ago…i got a trackingnr. from kospet for the watch they sent in replacement, but when i look at the nr. it has been stuck on “handed over to airline” since 11th of april, almost a month…i look every day but no more changes…i have contacted postal services in Belgium but the trackingnr. is not known to them, so all i can do is wait and hope that it will arrive one day…

Send an email to after-sales@kospet.com and ask them to check out the status of the package.

i did yesterday. they told me to contact Belgian post office, but when i did they cannot find the trackingnr. i am getting worried…

In defense of your situation, I’ve ordered things from other Chinese websites (Wish, AliExpress, Banggood) and have received the same status’s on several of the items I ordered. That being said, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s lost it Postal space, never to see the light of day again but don’t be surprised if it takes forever to show up… I’ve actually resigned things to being lost forever, gotten a refund (or replacement), then had the thing show up. On the other side of that, some stuff has never arrived.

So I wouldn’t necessarily count it out but I wouldn’t hold my breath too long either.

I’m definitely watching your situation though as I just shipped back two Prime 2’s to Kospet.

hi, i can’t do anything else but wait for the moment…when i contact kospet they say i have to follow the trackinnr.
When i contact Belgian Post they say it is not known in there system…and meanwhile it hasn’t moved in a month…at least i got my 60€ shippingcosts back, or it would have been a total disaster…have ordered a lot of watches, but think this was the last one…such a pitty…

Me personally bought from alibaba and product are in good condition

After a lot of problems with the watch , with the screen flashing continuously, The watch worked properly after the update and the steps i followed
Later after some days again problems, the watch is not charging the battery is hot and when i charge i can see only the kospet logo
So many problems
Is there sonething to do orelse i must change the watch for a brandnew?

As I said in the message I sent you… You just need to send to the after-sales@kospet.com address with proof of purchase and any other supporting information that you have.

Hi Anthony, Sorry for the delayed response but I have been busy with other projects. No, I haven’t had a successful resolution to my dead battery issue. I contacted them and they responded with… could I get it repaired here in Switzerland…a non-starter. I said no as there are no spare parts here. They then suggested that they send a battery and controller and could I fix it. Again I sad no. So They suggested that I send the watch back. I have not and you may wonder why not. The reason is that as the battery was dying I was able to get most of the apps uninstalled but didn’t have the time to get my accounts information deleted, so all my accounts are still on it with associated passwords, etc. All they have to do is fix the battery and they will have access to all my accounts. I was not comfortable sending the watch back so I just accepted the loss. I bought 2 so I have the spare one that I haven’t turned on yet. I seriously thought the Kospet 2 was going to be the ultimate watch but it is too big for my wrist and not at all waterproof (which could be why the innards died). I never put it near water but the humidity could have easily corroded the electronics. Btw, I had the same thing happen to my LEM 12 pro. I am now using the Lem 14 that is working fine and is close to but a bit short of the perfect size and is waterproof. I think the Ideal screen size is between 1.8 and 1.9 inches. beyond that is just too big and it needs to be waterproof.
I hope you get your watches back from Kospet, but if not, then I would be glad to send you my spare as I won’t be using it. No charge, I can just box it and send off. Cheers Bob
