In buold number shows 1.5
Would be so nice if app were adapted for watch full screen )) hate to use square mode
I will upload V1.7 tomorrow.
Has some new faces and a little square window for third party apps
When I can download too?
It will be posted at the top of the official Prime 2 thread
U know if in future apps will be adapted for circular screen?
probably not, the developers of the different apps decide for themselves if they want to adapt them for circular screens, and there is so few round android smartwatches that I would believe most developers don’t even know these watches exist. Most developers didn’t even make apps for windows phones, and I would be surprised if the number of android watches has surpassed the number of windows phones
It certainly makes sense to have the square mode for third-party applications as android is intended for square displays.
That the picture is slightly zoomed in to have more screen estate is a reasonable tradeoff in my opinion.
Sorry to be a nuisance, I have a similar problem with my Prime-2. I have been using mine without a problem for over a month now. I use it with a SIM and use it as my primary phone with voice recognition for whatsapp, messenger and email. A few short phone calls and maybe a short skype (no long ones as it heats up and shuts down, which is I understand is normal).
All of a sudden it will no longer charge. I have read the exchanges… all my cables are labeled so I am 100% certain I have not used the wrong one. I have tried other chargers and my PC USB ports. I have cleaned the contacts. The charging battery displays that it is charging. It will boot and after I put in the SIM code, I get the primary face and it shows the battery at 1% and then shuts down again. The only thing I may have done wrong is that I plug it in to charge around midnight, and it is fully charged the next morning. I understand that this may cause problems but not sure why. What would you recommend? Put the charger on a timer? Luckily, I bought 2 Prime-2 watches so I have a spare but would like to make sure the spare continues to work.
The one that no longer charges, I assume is a hardware issue and can’t be fixed by myself. I can’t even do a hard reset as it shuts back down immediately. Is there something I can try? If not, Should I contact Kospet directly with the email address you provided and may I use your name as a reference as you kindly suggested in this thread?
Many thanks for any help.
Hi Wulfman,
Did you ever get any resolution to this post or your issue with your watch? The exact same thing has happened to me.
Anthony
I have to ask - why are you not returning it?
If you have flashed the firmware and it has made no difference (and I don’t think it will) then you should email after-sales@kospet.com and show them a video or photos of what is happening.
They have a great returns policy and will help you with postage.
Hi Pablo,
I purchased it through Banggood so on the advice of @Dr_Andy_Vishnu, I’ve started the process of returning it. I need to send them a YouTube link for a video showing what I’m experiencing (which won’t amount to a whole lot because the battery will only charge to 1 or 2%) so that will happen this weekend.
If things don’t flow smoothly with them, I’ll contact Kospet but I figured it’d be best to allow Banggood the opportunity to make it right since I purchased it through them. Unless of course you advise to allow Kospet to deal with it.
Thanks for looking out and as always, I appreciate all you do.
Anthony
Hi Pablo,
Just a quick update. There was some back and forth emails between Banggood and I with me including pics and videos of how the Prime 2 was behaving but in the end, after a week of communicating, Banggood abruptly said I should contact Kospet with the problem and gave me the same email address you provided. I find it strange that they’d engage me knowing they’d refer me up the food chain. Whatever though.
I quickly emailed kospet and was immediately responded to (within minutes) by them asking for pics and videos of the problem to which they responded they applied for a new machine (Which I take as they’re going to send a new watch) But they asked for me to send the bad watch back but nothing about reimbursing for the shipping cost. So I did ask about that and I’m waiting for a reply.
I’ll keep you posted.
Anthony
@Cigarcia
They will respond.
Just takes some time.
It is their policy to assist with postage costs as much as possible.
Please let me know if you have any problems but also remember that they deal with a significant number of customers every day.
Cheers
I have had some issues establishing two way communication with them but took it on faith following assurances from Pablo. I never even got a direct reply email from them until I sent a reminder email a week after the return was delivered. However, I was the provided 2 hours worth of very polite and professional attention followed by a tracking number for a replacement and full postage refund (=36% of watch cost) to my paypal email account.
These are the instructions I was provided.
Could you please send the watch to the below address, please note on the package “308-KOSPET”, then provide the tracking number and photo of package to us, thanks.

Otherwise it is not an arrangement… Just a hope.
Thank you for that Pablo. I had intended on it anyway to cover my a** but I’m grateful that you’re monitoring it enough to give great advice. Your input is invaluable sir.
No worries.
I’m sorry I am not available much at the moment but I have FLU.
So I pop in occasionally but mostly I have been absent for while, until I get better.
I will keep an eye on stuff though
Cheers
Thanks Colin! Thats extremely helpful @Colin_Green
Hi Pablo,
Hope all Is well and you’re feeling okay after all it seems like you’ve gone through in the last few weeks.
Anyway, you’re not going to believe this.
As you know, I had battery related problems with my watch so I reached out to Banggood, who entertained me with conversation but ended up turning me to Kospet to reach a resolution. In turn, Kospet has been very helpful and extended themselves as you have mentioned. Professional, polite and a willingness to help by replacing the watch with a new one. Kudos!
What you may or may not be aware of (because I think I’ve only mentioned it only once) is that I actually bought 2 watches when they went on Presale in October. Due to a prior bad experience with another brand and seller through AliExpress (that you might recall) I figured I’d self protect a little in case the first watch had issues. I could fall back on the 2nd watch and go on with life. The 2nd watch sat unused but got an occasional battery charge to keep it fresh but was never worn (including attaching the straps) until I had problems with the first one. That’s been what, 5 months (I received both in December).
Once Kospet decided that I should return it, I broke out the 2nd one and life was good again, until today. The watch had held a decent charge since putting it to use but about halfway through my work day today, the 15 % battery charge notification went off which was very surprising as I’ve added only 3 Apps so there was nothing to cause it to drain so quickly.
It has since died and will not charge, hold a charge or even make the usual sound when plugging it in.
I’ve reached out to Banggood and will now send an email to Kospet.
Ugh!
