Does anyone know anything about the S999 supposedly 2.8inch watch running Android 9?
It’s being sold\re-sold on AliExpress by JingTider … looks a little like a LemT (DM100) to me.
an interesting watch. it seems a perfected rectangular watch from 2011 (AN1) until 2020 (Max S).
Personally I have bad experience with one button FAW. also it will life with only A9
Just a quick note about this and several other A22 SOC Android 9 devices that are about to flood the market for a low price and then they will disappear.
We will not be supporting them here.
Not only have they copied some of my work, but I know that the board is made by an ex Mobile phone company who are desperate to make some fast money.
There is nothing good about them apart from the cheap price.
The one I have even has a plastic screen

There will be no customer service or OTAs I suspect.
Probably a pure hit and run situation and I just hope that the brands we work with don’t get lured in by the cheap price…
So that’s it really…
I don’t want anything to do with them.
Sincere thanks @pablo11 for the advice and heads up. I also will have nothing to do with any of it.
good to know about these modified cheaper ones.
at least they still stick to 1 button (power) only watch.
I have these watch 3 models in the past and all of them not last even 3 month.
make you regret burning money through this than do gambling lol.
Yes I understand what you mean.
I can’t be certain about anything to do with this new A9 A22 board…
They are totally secretive about everything.
Unless that changes and they decide to come on board and don’t do a runner - we can’t get any firmware or anything else related to them…
So we have to wait and see what happens I guess.
I can’t get back to China any time soon so it’s impossible to know…
Too bad…
I like that it’s detachable.
Perfect little mobile…
It looks interesting, but like pablo said if you know nothing about a product you do a blind bargain.
The 13MP and 5MP are most probably not real either and they present the product pictures in such a way that you can’t see the back, which is just a plastic shell with a metal surrounding.
On the basis Pablo says they stole some his work and they are no good , this is reason enough for me to leave them alone.
It’s not my work exactly, yes I have contributed but in the main it is the work of the people who provide the boards for
Zeblaze
Lemfo
Kospet
KingWear
IQI
On top of the disappointing cloning (which is not surprising, lol)
These people are a company desperate to make fast money.
Equally, there is no way to get firmware or any way to get any bugs fixed…
So it’s pointless
@gslt don’t post anything here regarding these rubbish products.
I will only warn once about this.
These products like the S999 are ridiculous and many unfortunate people purchased them in the beginning. Before they realised that they were unsupported and the firmware was so bad.
Here is why:
