A watch face that after a few seconds of being on the screen a second and third image will follow watch face ( like a slideshow )
Thankyou for your response
This is not a standard feature of the ClockSkin engine. However, you can emulate it by using a DigitalClock layer and giving the images you want to the digits. This way you can have 10 images (1 per second, minute or hour), or 6 images (1 every 10 seconds, every 10 minutes), or 3 images (1 per 10 hours, except the last which will be from 20h to 24h). Note that you can’t just say “I want this image for 14 secons”, because you’re using a hack to get a SlideShow. Just make sure the images are large enough to occupy the whole screen, otherwise you will have 2 images on screen at the same time.
Check this example I made for you. In it, each of the 6 images shows for 10 seconds, and each image is exactly 400x400 pixels. You can export the watch to clockskin if you want to retrieve the images.
Disclaimer: images are not mine, I just grabbed them from Google Image search (search term: landscape)
Hi . I am sort of getting the hang of this . I am using the digital separator for image then doing the same again for second image etc . Then i am deselecting all other digits . How do i get images to swop from one to the next ?

I am missing something
Thanks
The images should be on the digits, not on the separator. Also, you can’t deselect a digit. The check on each digit is to specify if you want text (checked) or an image (unchecked) for that digit. And you should change the “Clock Type” property to “Seconds” (or “minutes”, depending on how fast you want to the images to change). Look at the example I posted, and check the properties of the “SlideShow” layer. Press the “Preview Movements” to see the images changing every 10 seconds. In that example, the digits 0 to 5 each have a different image, so during the first 10 seconds (0-9) the visible image will be the one on digit 0, the next 10 seconds (10-19), will be the image on digit 1, and so on…

Thanks for your donation. Your name will be included on the about box of the next WatchFace Designer releases.
When you complete a design you can save it (menu File->save), and you can export it to ClockSkin (File->Export as ClockSkin). The first option saves just a file that you can later re-open (File->Open) to do further edits. The second option (the export) is not designed to allow you to easily edit it later, as it looses information not required (nor accepted) by the watch. However, if you did not save the design or lost it, you can still use the menu option File->Import ClockSkin (available on the latest versions) and select the folder with your clockskin, and you’ll be able to edit it. Note, however, that if you are using the exported version, everything is converted to images, so you may loose flexibility on the changes you want to make.
Resuming, always save your work so you can continue it later. Use only the “Import ClockSkin” as last resource.
Hey, don’t know if you’ve seen/solved this issue, but the date displays aren’t working, constantly displays Sun 00 Jan, in the designer and on my watch (http://prntscr.com/gd89yx) even if i change my date settings etc. Any solutions/advice? Program works great other than that, thanks for making it!

Hmmm. That's strange. There is no DigitalClock type with that format (day name, day number, month name), but you probably used 3 DigitalLayers, right?... Can you send me an .xml file where that happens? Also, what is your watch?
I've just tested it on the designer, and all the DigitalClock layers regarding dates are working correctly on the preview...

Yeah, I'm using 3 separate layers to make the date, here's the WatchFace folder: www.dropbox.com/sh/iyblcv2mohctp9a/AADELZYKsS4YsTi1kY3zY61sa?dl=0
Currently using a KW88, with Eric's launcher (in case that's causing it), however it also wasn't working in the preview.
This is the first time I've used this program/made a skin, so it could just be a newbie mistake.
Ok, after poking around a bit, I found the cause of the problem: I had all 3 date segments in a GroupLayer (http://prntscr.com/gdwl50), which seems to turn them into an image (I found this out when looking through the watchface file).
I don’t know if this was intended, but you may want to fix it.

Yes, that's a known problem to me, that I forgot to mention. I will try to make it clear that dynamic parts can't be grouped. That applies also for rotating parts, not only to DigitalClock layers. I can't enable them to be grouped because if they were, when creating the clockskin all the effects applied to the group would be lost, resulting in something unexpected.
I’ll to make DigitalClock layers ungroupable and will remove the autorotation property to the other layers when they are grouped. I’ll release that “fix” ASAP.
This version fixed some bugs and added new features:
Fixed bug on open file (undo history was not previously cleared)
Prevented dynamic layers to be part of groups
Added rescale option for DigitalClock layers (as requested by arb2040)
Added “Create Preview Image” functionality
Added Fill and Stroke styles allowing gradients to be used
The largest parts of this release are the template engine for watch face previews and the support for linear and radial gradients. The preview templates are NOT included in the main application download. I attach here a link for some templates, but the purpose is to have the community make and share their own templates, so we all can benefit from it. A template is just an image with transparent areas where the clock is then placed and perspective corrected.
