This is a small release but an important one because it fixes a major bug when BorderEffect was used. It was not properly saved, making it impossible to read back.

Fixed saving/loading problem with BorderEffect
Added new Pattern: “Hexagons (Filled)”. This is the inverse of the already existent “Hexagons”. Where the previously existing one draw the outlines, the “Filled” version does not draw the outlines, but fills the inside of the hexagon.

This must be a bug on the engine. If the fix works, could you send me the WDF xml and the corrected clockskin so I can implement a tweak on WFD?

Marco, this was a discussion earlier. All firmwares except finow x + series watch, have bug on the clockskin engine.
When the battery not correct visible : need the coordinates in CSM shift to image.width/2 to right.
When was x=0, and images width=400px, than shift to 200.
Note: when the user use Universal launcher, no need this fix.

That’s great news. I forgot to install universal launcher after installing the last firmware. Now I’ve tried and the watchface looks right!
I’ll have a look at CSM anyway, but for now I know I can use mpmf’s tool and Universal launcher together and have all the Tolkien watchfaces I want…

Sorry, your (our) watch's clockskin engine does not support interactive watchfaces.
Version 0.8.1 tested
Here is a small bug : the first move in x or y direction of a layer is not removable with the undo-key. ( seems to be a general problem not only for the x/y directions ) Only the first change you make, then its ok.

Then, set the auto-rotate property of the group to SECOND (or any other you wish to use) and that's it. Here, I attach an example with the car circling the watch.

So as usual i connected to WiFi cellular data installed some apps checked for OTA
Then I got to real work
I installed erics standalone app 2.2.7
which lets you create a ClockSkin folder automatically
but I just downloaded Zsolts quantum and lumix u color face and it tells me the face is not supported
Whhen i asked zsolt he guided me here

In this thread we talk about WatchFace Designer in order to design our own watches. This thread (/thread/1529/universal-launcher-new-generation-2) is the one about Eric’s launcher (which I assume is what you are using on your watch, and not the standalone app, which is, I believe, for the phone and not the watch). I don’t know if Eric’s launcher creates the ClockSkin folder automatically, but if it does, then you just have to put the watchface in there (if it is unzipped, place the folder containing it, if it is zipped then make sure it has no folder on the zip).

Is there a way to use dynamic layers this way? For example, having the moon phase rotating like the car in your example…
