Sometimes (phone’s) watch droid disconnect when I close app from watch for no reason but after watch restart it get fixed.
So the question is - why it happens ?-
Who can what can cause that problem please

The app needs to be able to run in the background.
So I am guessing that something is preventing this.
It also makes a very big difference which firmware you are using.
Stock or FAW international firmware.

If the watch is restarting itself randomly, you need to make a factory reset.
Did you reset the watch after you used the update zip to move to FAW international firmware?
It should not restart itself.
If you reset and it happens again…get a bug report.
If you have not researched how to get a bug report - I strongly recommend that you do not use the FAW firmware.
It requires focus, strength and will power…
Just watch a John Wick movie and you will understand what I mean.

I installed this on my KW88 Pro and it took me like 2 days to realize it was completely taking control of the Bluetooth/Phone connection settings. It seems to do a reliable job of mirroring notifications but I can’t seem to find a setting to have it “share internet” / tether. Am I overlooking it or is it not an option by design and if so is there a specific tethering app that is most compatible?

I think you just need to take some time to fully understand the app and how to configure it properly.
I believe there is good information in this thread that has been provided by the developer but it is also possible that the Android version on your KW88 may cause some problems as this app has been regularly updated for newer versions of Android.
KW88 comes with both A5 and A7 versions but it is now quite old.
@lumaticsoft may have time to come here again and check out this thread, but we haven’t heard from him for a while now.

There is a pretty good support thread on XDA as well which might help. I know it states WearOS, but the same applies for regular Android.

I’m sorry, maybe I’m asking something that has already been discussed here, but it takes a long time to look through the whole topic.
The WD notifies me of an incoming call, I answer it on the phone using HF, and after a few seconds the watch again reports the same incoming call. But it is already underway. Where am I wrong?

I can only guess that it is a notification setting or permission.
Did you check out the thread on the XDA forum?
You may be able to contact @lumaticsoft through the XDA forum or the Google Play store.

Is there a new version of this app expected to come out? I have a pixel 7 pro and a LEM16. I don’t have a sim for the LEM16 and the GaoFit app is unable to sync MMS messages. Unfortunately, when I try to install Watch Droid Phone on my pixel, it says “This app is not available for any of your devices” and shows both of my devices grayed out.

Have you read the posts up above?
If so, then you know as much as we do :+1:

@pablo11 Yeah, I tried to follow but there’s a lot of messages to go through. I also checked your link to XDA and found that he hasn’t been active there in quite a while either. It’s a little unfortunate because it seems like a nice app, particularly when compared to a lot of the included smartwatch apps. I’ll try just downloading and installing the apk from your link but I’m guessing the discussion above about a permission change or an android API change may have made it unlikely to work and that’s why it says it’s not available for my device.

It did let me install the APK. It will connect fine until the screen turns off. I tried all of the config on the FAQ for the app but some of it is not done the same way in Android 11/13 as it was when the app came out. I can get it to connect by turning off/on Bluetooth. I think it has something to do with the watch being a phone instead of a headset so android does not want to maintain the connection.

It’s the power saving options on the watch.
In the Optimisation app for the watch, check the Clean Task is disabled and the set permissions for watch droid to run in the background in the watch power settings etc…
Same as a mobile phone.
You can can search for “background app” in the search tool here on the forum for more information.

@Dr_Andy_Vishnu created a straight forward guide which pops up when you search
