TWRP for LEMX

@Nick_P
It looks like this and sadly, removing the screen panel sometimes wrecks the panel :frowning:

But this also doesn’t make sense lol it only does this in TWRP. When I’m booted into the OS the screen is fine.

I show this in my pictures.

Ok, that means that the screen driver has changed since the twrp was made.
It just means that that TWRP is not going to work for you.

Thank God it’s not the screen issue…
It’s a nightmare…lol

Hello, the twrp file is no longer valid. Could you please share a new available link. thanks

Hello, can somebody please reshare the twrp files for this watch? Seems like every link is dead or not valid for some copyright reason

LEM X recovery?
Depending on your firmware, this might work.

So quick! love you for this !

Im using the DMN_DM19_LEMX_20190522 firmware. not sure if its based on this or the older one from march?

I’m very sorry, but it’s been so long you will just need to test it.
Let me know how you get along with it.
Cheers and glad to help :+1:

Thanks haha, just did and its booting to twrp, touch is working but its just a blackscreen

How do you know it’s booting to twrp if black screen?
Did you patch your boot image with Magisk?

i can feel the touch vibrations and adb tools says its in recovery.
I didnt patch with magisk, am I supposed to do that before installing twrp? the instructions didnt say it so i wasnt aware

found out from logs it seems to be a weird framebuffer issue :\

Sounds like you have a model with a different screen.
The early LEM X was M6737 chipset and the later one was M6739 and had different screen drivers.
Do you know which chipset your watch has..?

Mind you, I don’t think I have another recovery image for it.

You might be better off using magisk and just not use TWRP.

Yes, otherwise the boot image will ignore the recovery.
