The Witcher 3 School of Wolf Emblem

Hi guys, I’m sharing with you my second creation, another Witcher lore clockskin: the School of Wolf Emblem.

There are various Witcher schools in “The Witcher” world, each of them having its own fighting techniques and philosophies and a unique Emblem, which usually is worn by Witchers in the form of a medallion.

Geralt of Rivia, starring of both books and games, belongs to the School of Wolf, so here we go for the clockskin:

To get the time on this clockskin, look at the red arrow indication: hours are showed in golden Latin numbers, while minutes are displayed as blue dots, one dot every 10 minutes. Seconds are shown in red in the external rotating bezel.

This one works correctly only with Universal Launcher, or even with Stock Launcher if you simply install and use @Eric_Crochemore’s useful app Universal Wear Watchface, which can be downloaded here:

Last but not least, thanks to @doubledad for his kind and useful suggestions.

Hope you like it, enjoy!

Great job! I absolutely LOVE the way you treated the seconds function. It also took me a few minutes to realize the time function (on a 24 hour basis) appears above the arrow at 12 o’clock… I look forward to your continued progress.

Thank you very much, I’m glad you appreciated it! I hope to improve my skills finding more ways to customise skins, time will tell us what’ll go on about this :slightly_smiling_face: Yes, I managed to adjust hours that way just because it was the first idea I had for avoiding any Emblem’s visibility sacrifice

again, terrific job. I think you must have some experience in graphic design because your instincts are terrific. Oops I just repeated the word terrific and I guess that’s what I mean!

Thanks again for your kindness, I’ll try to do my best  Any tips would be appreciated, I’ll be happy to improve the skin if anyone has something to suggest

I continue to marvel at this work… The graphics are superb and - if you will - tell me about your background that propelled you to such amazing work. Are you a graphic artist as well as guitarist?

Well, sincerely I have nothing to do with graphic studies nor with graphic skills at all  I simply used the awesome WFD engine by @Marco_Ferreira, I took the wolf emblem png from the net adding a little shadow effect, then I created the layers from scratch using WFD tools (I’ve put my efforts just on “metallising” layers, creating emboss and some shadows and finding right proportions between everything. WFD gave me everything I needed for that).

How much of a creation power for a beginner like me! :joy::joy:

I am amazed! If this hobby could be made a profession, you would be famous  Your work far surpasses 95% of the forum’s contributors!

Please tell me about “metallising” layers (I didn’t know WFD had that capacity)

Ok, so here you have a picture of when I was in the “work in progress” phase

You’re too kind, but thank you again, I’m very happy if someone likes so much this work  As you can see, under the “ThreeDee bezel” layer there is a “Brushed Effect”, which is toggled with completely editable settings for creating the metal effect. If you apply it to the layer you need to “metallise” with a proper light, a proper color and a nice emboss effect (where needed), then you’ll do the “magic”
