Here is my Kospet Prime S with same SIM card. No 3G network in Hungary, just 2G 4G and 5G.
And soon you will not have 2g also… ![]()
In Hungary, they are not shutting down the 2G network, because many alarm systems and remote control systems work exclusively with the 2G network. I think they will keep it for at least another 10 years. I think all European countries still have 2G.
In France we have system on 2g too but the calendar for us is : end of 2026 shutdown 2g, end of 2028 shutdown 3g…
Just thought I’d jump in to confirm the cable I ordered arrived and has been successfully modified with the instructions provided by @G1NT0N1C (thanks again). Can also confirm that the adb command to allow watch droid to display over apps has been successfully applied. Thanks to all involved.
They will keep it but not for cellular telephony or data.
Same will apply to 3G.
Great news. Nice work ![]()
So amazing!
Ok ok, let’s take a step back here.
Let’s please try to be civil in here and give constructive feedback rather than just say the watch is shit. We all know that it has had problems, but for many people these things are not a problem. Everyone is different.
We should also remember that once a problem or a great experience has been explained, there is no need to repeat it again. The point has been made, end of story.
So, let’s be nice to each other. No one wants to come here for information and support if they see us have a spat (argument)
I know I would not like it.
Thanks for your cooperation.
For anyone still looking for a 4 pin cable, it looks like it is on sale on the Vwar website now (at least the UK site)
I think (based on the description of DW99) that this cable from Aliexpress may work too. Although people here may be able to advise better on this cable than me
Do I need to reset it again after this update? Thanks in advance, Jos.
Yep, that’s the latest and yes - it’s best to reset again.
You can choose not to but may have a few issues.
You beat me by a few seconds! ![]()
Ha ha… shows that we are very responsive ![]()
Yep, just need to confirm the pin layout and magnets are correct. As per the instructions from @G1NT0N1C
When set to “Triple mode(2G/3G/4G)(LTE preferred)” my SIM works and can make and receive calls. However, you have to set it to that after every reboot because it goes back to “LTE network”
Is there a way to make the selection permanent in the network settings, the mode selection.
Yes,but just only in engineer mode. I can select only 2G, but if i select it then i have no network.
The selection goes back to LTE after every reboot.
My own card wouldn’t make a receive calls in LTE mode except in the triple mode.
