It doesn’t work, it’s the standard EN version 1.5.
I have a different version of the S13 (smartwatch 696)
That’s good news.
Saves me from doing it. I’ve been laid up for two weeks with a bad back injury, so this is very good news and well done to the vendor. They are not usually very helpful.
They are the same watch by the way. Just one is branded with the Vwar name and has WWE firmware. The other is unbranded from the factory and had the CH firmware installed.
Otherwise, same functionality etc.
So no, Google assistant will not work because the firmware has their own version of assistant built in. This prevents others from working. Like Google calendar - it has the same issue.
Is this the Vwar branded version because that is v1.1.
The last user version of 1.5 unbranded is from September - is this what you have posted? If it is, it suffers from random reboots.
By the way, @Aleksandr did you have issues installing the ASR driver pack?
Asking because I hear people are having trouble installing. Personally I think the Unisoc drivers are working OK.
Hi @Aleksandr
If this is you billy197xxxxxx@gmail.com you need to change your email address from the current address to this one. Otherwise you will not be able to download the file.
Your forum email address is billy@xxxxx.ru
I suggest you use the Gmail address for everything because it works much better.
The email requesting to download has to match your email address here on the forum.
Ok, download is available now. ![]()
I made it clear, download is for members only.
Don’t bother asking if you are not a member here.
Cheers
Yes, I posted version 1.5, unbranded, from September (the seller sent it).
I had no problems installing the ASR driver package. The package includes instructions, though they’re in Chinese.
I installed your debug version from November 3rd.
Thank you.
Ok, thanks.
The debug version allows you to make some changes if you know what you are doing.
I would not advise you do that unless you really know what you are doing.
The September version is ok, and the vendor was right to send it to you. Unless you were having random reboots - but it sounds like you were not.
I only have these developer versions because I work with the solution provider. They are not generally available. But, I wanted to understand your use case.
For example, do you use any google services or are you based in China behind the great firewall? I’m interested in how your experience is if you are using Google apps.
It will help us (the solution provider and me) with development.
Cheers
I am in Russia, I had a problem with the lack of Russian language, I don’t really use Google services, not everything works in Russia.
I think not the same watch. The hardware is not the same. The unbranded versions are able to communicate on 2G networks, while the VWAR Core 5 is not. The hardware lacks a 2G modem. That’s why I don’t dare to put this firmware on it.
Interesting.. Which watch is different? Can you give me the firmware details please? Or is it the Chinese version @Janos_Csamango
I must be missing something because I have the unbranded version..
Branded and unbranded can be purchased with 2gb ram and 16gb storage or 3gb of ram and 32gb of storage. I can confirm this because I work with the solution provider.
The firmware package can be used to flash either of these as it contains the files needed for both configurations.
There has already been a post here about how to change the modem band settings which are hidden from the settings app. I’m not saying that what you are saying about the Chinese version having different parameters is not true, but I will be surprised if it is. So I will go back into the code and check with my partner in China as well.

Ok, thank you
I’ll let you know once I have checked it out. But just to let you know, there are no changes to the modem configuration between this version and the later versions. The C29 board is made to a fixed configuration. If there was any difference to the modem, the board would use a different version number. That’s the way it works.
Cheers
What I know is that the full 2G/3G band is displayed in the engineering menu. When it scans for providers, I only see 4G services. If I set it to 2G, it can’t connect to the provider. VWAR customer service promised to look into it and see if they could send me firmware. I don’t have much hope.
Ok thanks.
In the meantime, I will see what I can do.
This is what I see in engineering mode on this firmware, as much as I could fit into two screen shots:
You see 4G Network because it’s only her names and you are in Hungarian : Europe is gradually closed 2g and 3g network…
