Rectangle smartwatch

All things considered after using it for a day on FAW A10 firmware,i would rather have this than my Lem 16 hands down, its runs smooth, things are easier to see, and is capable of a lot more than i thought it would be…ive just watched a full movie in 1080p and the picture and sound was flawless and the battery lasts fine

Glad you like it…:+1:
It would be great to make it for the LEM16 Z40 but the amount of work and time involved is prohibitive for us now.

Hello to all of you,

I have a Lem T and a Max S that I’m eager to upgrade to the FAW A10 firmware (waiting to get access to the download section → thanks for the work).
Since I haven’t been around for a while as I was too busy in my work, but have some spare time now to take care of this, so what rectangle Android watch would you advise me to buy now that it’s summer 2023?
I would need at least 64GB of storage (+SD if there is any having it, wasn’t the case when I bought the Max S) and of course a rectangle screen, maximum size as the Max S if possible.

I have a few round watches like Huawei’s, which are great for sport at my level (not as good as garmin, of course, but with a week of battery) and Wear OS’s old Moto 360, old LG G and Fossil → but let’s be honest, Wear OS is really not what it aimed to be…
And so I’d love to test a more recent full Android watch!

Any advise welcomed! Thanks

There is no new model to recommend at the moment :frowning:
Unfortunately the production of Android watches that are worth buying has been crippled during the covid situation.

The MAX S is still the best option in my opinion.
There is work going on for new models, but it is very slow and we are unlikely to see anything soon.
Most of the brands that were selling Android watches have shifted to BT bands / watches because they are cheap and financial risk is low.
These are just my observations of course.
Cheers
Pablo11.

In my opinion, you already own the two best rectangular full android watches. As @pablo11 said, it’s not out of the question that there will be something new at some point - but at the moment there’s nothing tangible to report on.

Ok, Thanks a lot pablo11 & G1NT0N1C for confirming things.

After looking on AliExpress I could see that there were no other real Android square Phone Watch on the market than the two I have, beside the S999 (or whatever it’s called) which is to be avoided apparently (too bad as it has 64GB of storage).

We’ll have to wait then.

Thanks for the firmware tips!

I noticed a new post about a rectangular smartphone. Is there anything better out there right now?

Hi. What is the best rectangular FAW currently? (the best specs)

I would personally say the A11 Lokmat watch.

Everything else is just not stable enough

This… but the Lokmat version of the exact same model
