Yes, I too installed the BT calling firmware on my KW88 and can confirm the BT Calling feature works flawlessly. I also like the circle menu.

Unfortunately there are bugs in the firmware.

You cant pick a watch face. It just force closes and stays on the default watch face.
Whenever you go back to home screen with swipe or button, it goes to the multitasking screen every time.
wrist twist to wake up screen doesn’t work.

WiiWear really is a broken app but a lot of the built in apps of the watch rely on it. I wish WatchDroid took over the watch completely

Hopefully a fix will be on the way once all is ready.

I can change my watchface on kw 88. I have the default watchfaces, my own from clockskin-maker and watch-designer and can add the new over + from firmware. For wrist twist you can take shake from playstore. For home screen button take handy soft keys from store, you can see the triangle from program on right side of my pictures. The round button in middle of my watchfaces take me to a floating tollbox,although from store.

how did you flash the watch? only downloading or upgrade? try reseting the watch and notify if the bugs are still there.

Oh i used the standard spflash tool and the helpful youtube video instruction you show people. Downloading only as instructed. it was easy.

I will try a reset.

After install new update with calling, can’t root my watch even shity kingroot, kingoroot, oneclickroot etc can’t , also tried install TWRP but no luck, always is stock recovery. (KW88)
Any idea?

I have flashed the new firmware as firmware upgrade with all checkboxes (preloader,recovery etc.) I´ve rooted with KingRoot(NewKingrootV5.3.0_C187_B437_en_release_2017_10_25_2017.apk) from KingRoot-Website.

You followed my instructions - use FIRMWARE UPGRADE option in SP tools and flash all ticked boxes? or your watch will not work.

I have flashed this many times and it works perfectly.

If you do not follow my instructions you end up with a mixture of old and new firmware .

Screen wake with wrist works fine.

Flash properly please.

Use Firmware Upgrade option and flash pre-loader

It will wipe your watch so be prepared.

It is needed for this new platform.

Do not try to flash to another watch - you will brick it !!

Sonia kindly provided this video to help - if in doubt please research this first.

As always - you flash firmware at your own risk!!

Hey, no need to be so defensive (and insulting), I wasn't blaming you for anything, the instructions were fine and easy. As I said the flash went well, I just noticed some bugs and reported them here just in case someone else has them or if nobody noticed them. Its a forum after all and we are all learning this new firmware for the first time.

Anyways, I did the reset and all seems to be working well now. The watch face issue was solved by refreshing the faces after installing a custom one. The wake on wrist turn works fine too.

So all works fine, even WiiWatch app…surprisingly.

For those that want wear Bluetooth headset to listen to music on phone and at same time want to use the headset to listen to Bluetooth calls from the smartwatch. I tested it and it didn’t work that way for me unfortunately.
The watch uses the “phone” connection whilst the Headset uses the “music” connection.
Now I will point out that my headset is an old one from 2015, so maybe it doesn’t have the same abilities as the newer ones. Hopefully someone will check that for me.

So that’s my update on this interesting thing. Its fun.
