So how is it on the Hope?
Or it’s a matter of time and testing?

The kh performs better than my lem7 and thor4 for all connectivity options. But I haven't found the cause yet why the gps seems not to perform so well as in the beginning.

And the result is? 🙂 It sounds promising but you didn't tell us the results?
By following this procedure I could optimize gps reception on my lem7, thor4 and kh. In particular after traveling or after spurious dropouts. I should add that gps on my lem7 is still very lousy and actually unusable, the thor4 is just marginally better. So far the kh has performed the best. For the kh I think gps reception is not so good anymore as the first few days I used it. In the beginning it used up to 10 sats in the GPS Status app with a very quick and constant 3d fix, but lately it is something between 5-7 sats and instable 3d fix (same location as before). I have to do more tests, but it looks it got worse ever since I plugged in a sim.
On your Lem7 . Go outside and after opening GPS test app . Bend watch straps the wrong way gently . It may pick up sats very quick . Some produced has loose antenna's . Mine did .
I tried many things to improve gps on my lem7: checked the antenna connections on mainboard and wristband, added alu foil shielding, recalibrated it with the method I presented above, cloned all partitions, incl the hidden ones, of my thor4. Nothing really helped. I did notice that bending the bands affects the reception quality, but didn’t help enough.
Yesterday I recalibrated my kospet hope and afterwards even inside I could get a 3d fix with 4 or 5 sats, when holding the watch in specific positions at some points. Removing the sim did not make a difference. I guess that at times the quality was not so good the weather conditions may have caused it. Next time I should do side by side comparisons with my phone and make screenshots on both devices and compare them across different times. Perhaps that can prove the dependency on the weather and on how clear the sky is.
I’m glad to hear that your Hope is working.
Interesting to hear that the LEM7 is not too good. Is it the M6737 model or m6739?
It’s a 6737, bought it in July

I also have one of these M6737 models. I'll have a look at it later when I get 5 minutes to myself... 🙂
ps: just finished a 10 miles cycle tour and had a permanent 3d fix in the gps test app with up to 17 sats and accuracy of 3 metres! not bad

Excellent
Hello, i love the watch, but she makes me crazy. Today i saw a cut on the backcover between sim cover and camera.
.
The watch did not fall down anytime
.
Is there a chance to order a backcover. Hope it not happend by a blowing battery.
I received my Kospet Hope watch a few days ago and was really enjoying the watch until I ran into the following issue…
I downloaded several “X series” watch faces from the Google+ Community and loaded them to the watch using the Clockskin Transfer App. Everything worked perfectly and the faces appeared on the webpage from the Clockskin Transfer App after they were sent to the watch. I then rebooted the watch and the new watches faces appeared on the watch. I was able to try at least 4 or 5 of the new watch faces without any issue but when I selected the next watch face the display started showing a spinning turquoise bar around the outer edge of the display. This will continue for about 30 seconds and then the watch will reboot. The watch does not respond to any screen swipes but I can long press the top button and get to the options for “Power off”, “Reboot”, “Power Save” and “Recent Tasks”. From here I can’t get to any other menu on the watch.
Is there any way to get out of this situation?
I also have a problem with watchfaces using the stock launcher they do not appear correctly the ring around the watchfaces arcs in the middle and also I love erics launcher and they all work fine using his however I cannot find a way to switch mobile data on and off using his laucher as the toggle there is does not do anything and cannot find anything in the settings to turn data on or off
The data toggle will never work unless the manufacturers re-enable it . Its not erics fault
Thanks

That sounds really bad. I can imagine that spot is sensitive to mechanical strain. Did you inform the seller?

Have you tried to set another watchface via the WiiWatch app?
So… somehow after swiping and clicking the buttons I suddenly found myself in the “Settings” menu. I’m not sure if this was just a path the Android OS took after it failed to launch the watchface a number of times or it was something I did on the watch that got me there. Once there I was able to do a factory reset under the “Reset equipment” option. I then went through loading the custom watch faces again and trying them one-by-one (all while keeping the Clockskin Transfer App open in in the background). When I found the bad watch face I was hold in the top button and get to the “Recent Task” menu. From there I opened the Clockskin Transfer App and removed the bad watch face from the watch. As soon as I did this I was able to return to the watch face display which now reverted to another watch face.
By the way… I only have the iPhone version of the WiiWatch2 App. This version (unless I’m mistaken) doesn’t have the options to select watch faces. I have an Nvidia Shield Android tablet but for some reason the WiiWatch2 App comes up incompatible with this device and will not install.
I would still love to know if there was some trick I accidentally did that got me to the “Settings” menu from my locked out watch. Anybody have any feedback?

good morning, didnt know that i need the desktop version for a pic upload:)
I can not see it clearly from your pics and can't tell whether is a full crack or whether it is a surface scratch. If it is a full crack caused by mechanical stress and not by the watch falling down or bumping against something, then I would say you can claim warranty. If it is a scratch caused by you, then it is your fault.
