As I have said in many other threads - all the m6739 watches will get these updates (apart from the KW88 Pro and KW68 because they are on the legacy A7 OS). These older models might get the update but I don't think so.
The Dual got them first because it was the last firmware version that was built.
Now that it has been tested and is working, I will be posting updates as soon as the guys return to work after the Chinese new year holiday.
Hello, with the last OTA installed and after a full reset my gps start to work again, it get a lock in less than a minute with 6-9 sats, thank you !!!

The new update is amazing it helps a lot. Thanks for all of those who were involved. The new settings option of “Third-party Apps Adapter” is a great option to have. It makes all third-party apps small very small, tiny. I’m having a hard time reading the text, am just wound how are the older people going to handle it. I think they will literally need a magnifying glass to be able to use it. Not to bash it, I’m really grateful for the option, I just want to see it be more functional. A suggestion would be under the "Third-party Apps Adapter there a Scale System going from the very small to the large, 5 size to pick from.

Hmm, not sure why you are not getting a fix.... Have you tried turning off data restriction in your settings? One of the things to get used to with these new watches is all the different settings available and some take a while to find.

Don’t worry about the screen protector, it will make no difference to GPS.
Have you tried using one of the many different gps apps on the Play Store to see if clearing the agps data will make any difference?
Other than that it is not something that we can fix unfortunately.
Have you accepted the OTA and factory reset after the update?
A common mistake is that people update using OTA but forget to factory reset after.
Yes, i tried the engineering mode too (YouTube videos)and looked for ,epo, but there is no ,epo, in locations.

I compared the data from my mtk phone with the watch. Looks like same settings.

It is not a big problem in ,the real world, cause for a long navigation are my old eyes to bad:)… Its only annoying to have a not working gps

Ok, this is what i’ve done before it start working again:
-download and install the ota, reboot the watch
- go out with my car for 30 minutes with only device gps activated and test with Gps status with no luck
- go back to my home, full reset and charge the watch
-meanwhile i remove the screen protector and put in a glass one, doing a bit of pressing because it get a bubble in the center
-install gps status an go out with my car again with only device gps, and after about 10 minutes, it started to lock,since then get a lock in less than a minute,but the first time took 10 more o less. Greetings
The problem is coming from the GPS config file I believe.
Because it was manufactured and tested in China the first lock takes a very long time.
I have absolutely no belief that any screen protector makes any difference at all.
I think that the post above about taking the watch out side and waiting for the first lock is the key for many people.
Once the watch knows where it is, it should lock much quicker.
Perform following steps with the engineering tool:
Install MTK Engineering Mode from Google Play
Close Wi-Fi Connection
Open MTK Engineering Mode
Go to MTK Settings
Go to Location
Open Location based Service
Go to GPS
Make sure GPS is off [Button GPS caption must be GPS(off)]
Select GPS MODE: Full
Select Delete
Go to the AGPS Tab
Disable AGPS (uncheck [Enable A-GPS]
Go Back to the GPS Tab
Enable GPS [Button GPS caption must be now GPS on]
Go to the outside (clear view of the sky is needed)
Got to the view tab
wait until you see at least 6 - 10 sattelites in green state
Go to the GPS Tab
Stop GPS [Button GPS caption must be GPS(off)]
Press the REF POSITION Button
Click on APPLY LAST LOCATION
Go to the AGPS Tab
Enable A-GPS (enable A-GPS must be checked)
Go to the GPS Tab
Start GPS [Button GPS caption must be now GPS (on)]

By following this procedure I could optimize gps reception on my lem7, thor4 and kh. In particular after traveling or after spurious dropouts. I should add that gps on my lem7 is still very lousy and actually unusable, the thor4 is just marginally better. So far the kh has performed the best. For the kh I think gps reception is not so good anymore as the first few days I used it. In the beginning it used up to 10 sats in the GPS Status app with a very quick and constant 3d fix, but lately it is something between 5-7 sats and instable 3d fix (same location as before). I have to do more tests, but it looks it got worse ever since I plugged in a sim.
