I can't live everyday hoping the watch can hold an actual full charge just to be disappointed all the time. Unreliable piece of junk.
Hi… I work at a battery and lamp store and fix phones and watches all day. I see swollen overcharged batteries everyday due to over charging. I mostly work on Apple and Samsung…but a few others as well. I’ve a learned a lot in the three weeks ive been there, especially not leaving phones and watches on the charger for hours on end. Apparently many devices do not stop charging after you hit 100%. I also have read here to charge the watch while its powered up. Also… are you leaving WiFi and/or cellular on when there is no signal available? That will use battery really fast.

Trust me, its software being crappy at reading the proper battery life. I rushed home grabbed the charger, charged it up from 43% to 100% and that only took 20mins. So I knew right then, the meter is definitely not reading right. I let it discharge for a while and charge it back to 100% n repeat for 2hours. And now, its been going for 5hours and it still has 84% left. So the comparison to this morning was 2hours - 43% and after i did that discharge n recharge, 5hours - 84%.
Soooo conclusion is, if this thing doesn’t get better within these 3 days. Im getting a fossil explorist gen 3. That might have less features and battery life should be the same as an actual working Thor Pro that reads battery correctly but I have to believe that Wear OS won’t have this buggy battery reading problem and I won’t have to panic while driving and looking my watch to find it running low on battery and its barely the start of a working day and… design is definitely sexy. Honestly if i held off on getting this watch right now, I would already be using a fossil watch. Found a watch collector selling his 2 months old gen 3 for only $150USD. I cant imagine that used watch to be worst than what i have now, at least in term of reliability.
With that said, don’t get me wrong. I love a full Android watch buuuut this is not reliable in real life usage. At least my unit that is. Tsk tsk tsk, so disappointed.

I am not going to tell you that this app will for sure fix your problems but it has worked for me on all my devices. On each of my three watches after charging to 100%, not 99%, the watch shows a slow discharge all the way to 0 and the battery saver comes on right at 15%. I also get the same result even if I charge the watch from say 30 or 40%. Whenever you plug in the watch if “on” you get a notification to turn on the app to calibrate the battery but you can just ignore it if you don’t want to run the calibration process to refresh it. FYI I always monitor the charge cycle on my watch with an inline meter and often leave them on a charger overnight. (The Lem7, because it always charges in the “On” position will continue to put a constant charge to the watch after fully charged. I do try and charge it during the day if possible but have charged it overnight no problem.) By monitoring the charge cycle I know how much current has been delivered to the battery and if something is amiss in the charge cycle. I use the same 2A charger for everything because the charge circuit in the watch controls the charging amperage and not the charger. If it fails, then the watch either won’t charge or could overcharge but at that point the watch is not meant for this world anyway. If you decide to try the app please read and follow the instructions for the best result. I find having two watches, my Lem7 and I4Air set up nearly identical, works best for me. I can wear one and have one charging in reserve so that I always have a usable watch available 24/7.

Seems like a useful app. But its not in playstore anymore or maybe just not on my US playstore, do u have the apk for it?
I do but I did a web search and it turned up the on ApkPure site. That is why I use the App Backup and Restore app. It saves the original and most recent updates to your "selected" apps so you always have a copy.
When you saw the software is crap, it’s a given that the Wiwatch app is lacking. I also do agree the watch software isn’t great either. I owned Android Wear watch and it did behave better as far as the charging goes. However I could never read the watch outdoors very well. The Thor Pro screen is what sold me on this watch. I’m getting a full day and more if I’m careful. In the case of the watch that is fast draining…if it was mine, I would ask to exchange the watch. As someone told me before…its not an expensive smartwatch, you can’t expect perfection.

Thank you! I’ll give it a shot and see how this fairs. Its been 8hours now and watch is still at 70%. Why can’t i get this when i go to work in the morning

The firmware that i have on right now actually doesn't come with wiiwatch 🤣 its the x300 v1.5 firmware as the latest v1.6 firmware has screen artifact on my watch 🤷♂️ I agree the TFT screen on this watch is very useful but yea I've actually already posted this watch for sale on FB. Very doubtful if anyone is gonna buy it cus where I'm from, people either use fitbits or apple watches IF they're into smartwatch. So yea, in the meantime while I still have this watch, I'll keep reporting n ranting here until a solid solution is presented. Once its sold im buying the fossil watch, then I'll probably be back on this post to talk about the differences.
Just to be clear, I’m not selling this watch cus i hate it, i would love to keep testing this further but there’s a guy selling his barely used fossil explorist gen 3 for only $100 and I cant afford to get that its either i blow off my budget or i sell off my current watch
Bicboi69: Sorry to hear you’re having a lot of trouble with your watch. Depending on where you’re willing to ship to, I may be interested in buying it. I could use a tester. Pm me with details if you’d like.

Thanks man, unfortunately I won't be able to ship it out unless you're from Asia like me 😂 I definitely can't ask anyone to send me money first n wait for a month for it to arrive. Tbh if I could keep this and still get that fossil watch this month I would. I'll have to see how things go.
I am interested to see how much better a Wear OS watch with only 350mAH is compared to this full android watch with 500mAH. If anyone has already had to chance to try this I’m really interested to know. If my financial is going well this month then I’ll just get both to test for myself then decide on which one to let go.

I’m not too worried about the waiting part. I’m used to it since I have a few friends in Indonesia that I use to create custom dials/parts for watches I build. Right now I’m waiting on 2 dials that I paid for back in July. I know that they’ll be delivered in the end. Anyways, the offer still stands.
I’m in the process of figuring out how to update the firmware on my Thor Pro, but I’m hesitant to do so since I’m pretty pleased with it’s performance so far. Real BT phone use would be a nice addition though.

Sully008 are you saying that you build watches , my LemX i was trying to do something different on the watch and i did damage one side of the watch the lugs i was trying to remove the spring bars and use the 33mm screw tub rod with my dremel and i make a big mistake i was loo king around and i can not find nothing just the steel connect adapter for moto 360 watch and another replacement connector for a sansumg watch because i have an idea my work, but thinking a little more i need to find somebody with 3D printing skill and make the lugs in plastic or alloy that would be the better way but i dont know nothing about it if you know someone can you let me know.

Yes, I dabble a little in assembling and building my own watches. Can you show me a pic of what happened to your LEM X? I might be able to offer some suggestions. You can start a new thread for it if you want.
I have just ordered my Thor Pro and now have the patient wait until it arrives. Unsurprisingly i’m a gadget freak and so have joined tis Forum in order to research how to squeeze the best out of my device when it eventually arrives. I am particularly interested in the most useful apps that you guys are using with this device and wondered whether there is a means of loading the Playstore app onto this device being that it runs Android OS.
I’m looking forward to learning lots and where possible making a contribution to this community.
welcome:) it runs a cutom firmware just for these watches as any other custom roms that are made by develpers for smartphone same now you can find for smartwatches that support full android versions. check out this section:
