M2D Apps - Sender, Bluetooth Manager - Receiver

I use join on my phone and watch to send and receive text messages. It works pretty well most of the time. The watch and phone need to be connected to the internet for it to work though.

Hi! Im here to tell you all my impressions about M2D app. I know that it’s the only app that really can make our watches communicate with our phones in order to send and receive notifications from other apps other than the “normal” ones, but really… we all have to stop believing that the Dev is going to work any longer in his app! No news from him, no updates and the moderator (sorry Sonia…) is the one that must give us an honest reply that if the Dev really continues or not to work on the app… We all know that the app “sucks” battery power, that it lacks improved bluetooth connections stability, it simply doesnt really work with phones that are on android 7 and the Dev does not respond any of the replies (only you respond in name of him) etc…

Maybe it’s time to realize that our watches are only good for switching watchfaces and 2/3 good apps… I’m sorry if i seem too harsh.

Yep, agree with you. 22 sites but since a long time no reaction from dev. We all know that this is a free tool and developed in free-time. I would pay for it if it works 100%. But as you said no reaction since time from dev and this is not realy kind.

Will change to watch droid again. This worked more or less fine most of the time.

Thanks again to Sonia “por dar la cara” .

Everybody, try Watch droid phone (for phone) and Watch droid Assistent (for watch) You van reply on almost every message and take a call from youre watch. You can download it on the Playstore.

Thanks Paul. I installed yesterday and i am surprised. The battery life is wonderfull. I can reply whatsapp messages, make calls, choose a phone number and play my songs since the watch. At first I had problems maintaining the bluetooh connection, however i installed an application called "Bluetooh Autoconnect" and now the connection keep going. Thanks for share this.

I’ve tried this app on my S1/Q7 watch but I can’t get any notifications. I’ve installed it was well on my second phone, there is it working fine. Any suggestions? Wrote actually everything from my smartwatch into the second phone could not be a typo error.

have you made sure that the configurations on both devices are the same? for me it works well BUT the watch version (when you have to choose the display in the app) does’nt respond and the tablet verion does’ so i use the old look of the app.

reciever - same codes on both devices like 1234

sender - same codes on both devices like 4321

imei of the phone put in the watch

code of the watch put in the first one on the  phone

engrypted - same codes on both devices like 0123456789

send a test notification and see if it works, try with 3g and then with wifi and then with the BT app. btw how did you try with wifi or 3g or the BT app?

notification about the app to all users:

the app does’nt work with the watch version i mean when you start the app on the watch it ask you which verion do you want to use so choose the tablet verion cos the watch one does’nt respond, and all should work just fine, notifications the capability to reply. the look of the tablet verion is the old verion but works just fine.

***i will add a video to show the working app.

Thanks for your answer Sophie. The watch version works fine on my phone (Chuwi VX1) all the codes are the same, I don’t have a engrypted code and it works fine on my phone.

I’ve tried only with wifi, because I don’t have data on my phone it is pre-pay. BT is no option for my, because I want to carry on my phone with me.

are you sure? you can reply from the watch via m2d with the smartwatch verion? on my S1 does’nt work.

you need also the engrypted key to fill in, did you?

It is not working at all on my smartwatch, so I uninstall it. I removed it and installed it now, set all the keys but I receive nothing on the watch.

i am going to upload a video to show that it works with 3g, wifi and the BT app, interesting that so far i had problems with my watch:) now…your turn:)…

could it be, the app needs some google information? The only different what I have is, on my phone everything from google is standard installed (google play, google service etc.) On my watch a removed everything nothing is there anymore from google.
I think I also removed the notification :frowning:

why did you remove google apps? this app wo’nt work without google services most apps wo’nt.

I removed it to save some battery power. Basically I use this watch only for sport, so the heart rate app is working.
It is nice to try other function and to receive notifications from my phon, but important for my is in first place the battery power.

I’ll try to reinstall google service to see is there a big difference

i also use it mainly for working out but i also want to be able to use it as fully smartwatch so i use 3g mostly and BT and GPS only when i'm working out outside. and i get about 15hr-24hr depends on how long is the workout.

Oh my god!! I’m sorry Sonia but that was funny as hell! Your problems with bluetooth connectivity are exactly what i experience too! And also the notion of the battery suddenly dead! Thanks for the video!

thanks, do you also have the S1 watch?

me puedes ayudar?

m2d only gives you notifications for missed calls not on going calls, how are u using it? with wifi? BT app or 3g or all of them? i also use it with pushbullet and i do’nt have any prbolems of getting notifications from both apps.

thanks for answering … I mainly use the wifi application. I tried the BT application and it works as well, although it did not show me the call notifications either. it was difficult for me to configure the app so that the display does not turn on when the notification arrives, on the other hand, I could only do it with the tablet version, the round version does not work well at all. I was finally able to do it well but it really made it hard for me
