honestly, i dont know for real, the code is ai generated and i have no means to test it, only the android version can be tested, because requires bluetooth it is not possible to test in VM and xtools does not support VM
there is no way to get log on iphone so debugging will be near impossible, if you get it to work send a PR
to get log on companion use adb logcat | grep βBLEβ
i hope there is nothing wrong with the companion because i need to release soon and on ios the companion does extra things that is not used in android i really hope i dont need to edit the companion
so far you are top 1 iphone user i have ever seen that know how to install a app on iphone and even compile from source, congradulations genuinely ![]()
Hello @AILIFE , with some workarounds, I managed to get both the companion app and the iPhone app (RTOSify Lite iOS) working, as you can see in the attached images. However, they only stayed connected for a few seconds, then the connection lost and could not be reconnect.
I believe there is no issue with the companion app. The problem seems to be with the iPhone app (RTOSify Lite iOS), as it is not able to control Bluetooth properly. I think that if something is adjusted in the iPhone app so it can handle Bluetooth correctly, then it should work well. Can you make some adjustments to (RTOSify Lite iOS) so i can test it again?
i dont know what is wrong, what should be adjusted, pr welcome
as i say, there is no log on ios, so debugging is near impossible
Sorry what is pr
and where to do it?
pull request
Can i try to make some adjustments to (RTOSify Lite iOS) using your project files? If yes how can i get the files? Are they in GetLab?
yes feel free to make any adjustment
Thank you.
But pull request i do not know rrally what is it and where and how i can use it, can you explain it please?
i can not explain the basics
anyways it is only needed if you can manage to fix it first
Yes I will try to make some adjustments and see if it will work, thanks
.
You can try asking a decent AI engine for these questions. You never know, it seems to be very useful for many people.
I know now what is it ![]()
@AILIFE Yes! Yesssss! I fixed it, and now I have a fully functional RTOSify Lite for iOS. It works just like an Apple Watch and sends notifications from the iPhone to the Android watch.
But if you could make a few adjustments to the companion app, it would become an amazing app. The adjustments are:
- Display the app icon for each notification to show which app the notification came from.
- Show an indicator or hint when there are unread notifications.
- Make the vibration stronger, because right now it barely vibrates when a notification arrives.
sorry, these is only available in the full RTOSify version
display app icon(and notification with image)
notification list as dynamic island
adjust vibration pattern and strength
make PR with your fixed version so others can use it, thanks
Yes i will make PR
.
Unfortunately there are no adjustments to IOS version. Can I try using your app files?
