While we are waiting, can you charge it please and let me know how much battery it says it has when you connect to the charger?

Hello pablo11. I don't have any information whatsoever on the status of the watch. only thing I can view is the reset menu or the Recent Task menu, which doesn't show anything (I resetted a few times). I will leave it on, on the charger and wait for your instructions. Thanks!

Ok, I'm uploading the firmware now. Can you disconnect the charger and then reconnect? It should show the battery percentage on connecting to the charger...

When plugging in the charger it only says Charger connecter with a regular AC plug logo.

Hmm ok thanks

Ok, this means that the watch is powered on.
If you power it off - does it automatically turn on again and go to this screen?

When you connect to the charger I mean…

Watch off. charger plug. Lemfo7 logo, lemfo animation and sound. show charger connected for a second (no%) and then blank screen.

Have you ever flashed a watch before?

I also need to know if you can actually power off the watch - or does it just reboot?

The firmware will take maybe 90 - 120 minutes to upload. It is around 900mb…

Obviously, power off without the charger connected - is what I mean

Never flashed a watch. But I have flashed quite a few mobile phones (Mostly Windows) and a few Android phones.

I consider myself above average computer user.

At work. I program C, VB.net and a few other lanages… It may give you an idea of my qualifications.

It does power off if I select power off from. The menu.

That is great news.
I’m uploading so - can you make sure that you have the MTK VCOM drivers installed?
If not I have included in the package.
Which windows version are you using?

By the way, I am Pablo11… Nice to meet you

If it is too late at night for you - It might be best to get some sleep and I will help you in the morning.
It is only 1pm here - where are you?
Because it will take a while - my connection upstream is only 1mb as I live in the Blue Mountains.
But I will use Team Viewer with you if that’s ok and make sure everything is ok.

Ok, well - everything is ready. When you are ready send me an email at zappa1.pf@gmail.com.
Just check what time it is in Sydney Australia cos if it’s past 11.30pm then I might be asleep

Cheers
Pablo11

It works well indeed! I’m doing some real life tests again today, with a sport (football). Thanks!

Cheers guys!

Can you let us know what was the issue because I will buy this watch in two days when my bid win on eBay :-)

I will have that watch and I wouldn’t want the same thing to happen. Can you share fixed firmware so I can have it ready?

Thank you in advance!

Don't worry, if you have a problem I'm sure it will be fixed. As for this instance... We don't know what caused it yet. Something caused the built in UI to become locked. The stock launcher got stuck. It could probably have been fixed by wiping the cache but I wasn't sure.

Cheers
