Worth a try and won’t affect your warranty if you do it properly.
Sounds like the speaker has been “over water proofed”
Eric has had the same issues with his microphone…

thanks Pablo11 i was waiting for you respond ,its really  hot and with wifi off a little less,to tell you the true i dont want to deal with shipping and return, i have been there couples times,i will do it tomorrow i will let you know

I understand how you feel about returning. If you do end up returning it I will try to negotiate a speedier process like I did for the screen problem.

Sorry I am not around a lot at the moment… I was really busy with the screen crisis and working with Lemfo.
Then I became sick over the weekend so I will be on and off…

I say flash the firmware because there was another guy, a few days ago who had the same problem and the same firmware.

After he flashed it using the firmware upgrade option he was fine…

So it’s worth trying it. :+1::+1:

UPDATE from LEMFO

I confirmed today that the return plan offered over the weekend applies to ALL customers who have received a LEMX watch with a twisted screen.

Regardless of where you purchased it.

Proof of purchase will still need to be included with your application.

Well, Eric’s is not quite the same… His microphone is playing up…
But I thought of it just because I know that one of the areas that they focussed on in pre production was waterproofing…

If I was a betting man I’d guess that during the assembly the waterproof material has blocked your speaker output and possibly Eric’s microphone…

If this is the case then flashing will not make any difference at all…

However I have mentioned it to Lemfo and the screen alone is enough to engage the quick replacement plan.

Basically you send it by tracked postage and as soon as it lands on Chinese soil - they will dispatch a replacement.

At least you don’t have to wait for it to reach Lemfo offices etc etc…

Thanks to all who is talking with LEMFO, especially Pablo. Finally LEMFO replied in Aliexpress today. Just a bit messy that need to send the watch back in order to get a replacement. Also they requested not to use any courier service such as DHL, FEDEX or UP. Because they will be caught up in the customs to take the watch back.

However owners of this watch, about the heating problem mostly in the back, mine get so hot and more when I playing with the watch with Bluetooth and WIFI on little less when’s off, so how is your watch in normal conditions. Today I will testing more I just did the firmware upgrade but to me is like still and the battery is draining fast too, even I did change the strap for the leather one and those spring bars get loose and my watch falls couples times .

Bonjour, je viens juste d’en commander une sur DHgate, j’espere que je ne serais pas deçu car c’est ma premiere montre connectée hors sport (je possede une Garmin vivosmart 3).
Je l’ai choisis pour ses specificités (4g, taille ecran, android,fonction sport, prix a moins de 100€…) Je pourrais ainsi laisser mon zenfone 3 ultra a la maison et prendre que ma montre pour de nombreuses activité. Il n’y a que cet espece de notch en bas qui me derange visuellement et l’absence de NFC mais pour une premiere je suis ravi de mon achat, j’ai hate de la recevoir. Je suis en train d’eplucher le forum pour installer les custom faces desormais

The first time I used the watch I leave the data on and bluetooth connected to my earphones, while I listening to music going back home from work and the heat woke me up it was so hot that I have to turn the watch off I was so sad, but when I came home turn the watch on and played a little bit with the radios, turning on and off the data, bluetooth, wifi, and tried again with bluetooth music and the watch got just a little warm but usable. Then I turned the data on and I see no difference It did not get hot as before,so I think its a firmware problem. I will try a Factory reset and then maybe flash the watch (if I get the firmware) to see if It works better. 

No screen problems
No audio problems
The latest firmware

Had a change of mind mate following my speaker problem and decided to take your advise on return etc . Spent all day today not being able to take a call / listen to voicemails etc . However i have a problem . I have just sent you a email mate . Its a long shot :shushing_face:

do you have spary air the one to clean up computers? try this first if you have one, clean the holes of the speaker and microphone if it is’nt glue or plastic that disturb it might be useful to try.

at the sound setting, there are volume of media, alarm and bell but no notification... OTL

no notification pop up on the home screen when I get the notifications from the phone and there is no setting at the menu. Is this usual?
