I saw on the Kospet Facebook page, that there is a Kospet Prime S coming, with Android 9!?
Is that as unsupported here, as the other Android 9 watches ?
Personally, I assume it won’t be A9 …

This watch uses (very likely) a solution from Wiiteer, as they are interested in enhancing their products it is highly likely to be supported.
The general warning about Android 9 applies only to the competing solution provider, that has basically no interest in cooperation or support.

The reason why I wait before posting threads is that I like to be sure about information.
I have now confirmed that the Prime S is a Unisoc A9 solution but it is made by the solution provider that we have a relationship with. So we might be able to support it… But I am still unsure what we can do.
We are very familiar with MTK devices but not so much with unisoc.
There is a 1+16gb version and a 3+32 version.
It is designed to replace the old Prime 1 model.
More information will come when we receive it.

It’s not solely about the Android version.
It’s about who made the firmware solution.

Ok shutting this now because it is crazy.
I tried to make it clear that we will post information once it is confirmed.
This is not a place to push certain products over other products.
This has gone from general chat to a suggested product chat.
Not a sensible idea when all the facts are unknown.
