@Armen_Tangyan after I said this weeks ago I can’t believe that you don’t know this?
Haven’t visiting site for ages
Maybe read some stuff before asking next time? Just a suggestion…lol
I have a friend who has a Prime2 like new, who doesnt use so can sell it.
If somebody need it please pm me.
Normally this is not allowed in the public forum.
Potential sales of used equipment is still a grey area here and mostly because of all the issues that go along with it.
@G1NT0N1C @Dr_Andy_Vishnu @Eric_Crochemore… Do you think it is worth opening a category for this topic of buying / selling used devices?
It needs to be clear that any transaction that takes place is absolutely and completely between the buyer and seller.
Totally unrelated to this forum.
Personally i think its a good idea but as you say with rules . Also good for swopping / selling old spare parts from broken watches
I too think it’s a good idea. However, I am afraid of the first public rants if someone is not satisfied…
I don’t want to create problems. If you find it inconvenient, I’ll delete the post.
True . Someone will ruin it for everyone ![]()
Not sure. It might be worth a try.

I tend to agree with you @G1NT0N1C… if someone does buy a watch on here and it turns out to be a lemon…then there could be a situation where they use the posts on the Forum to complain about the watch…or attack the member they brought it off. Now you can add all the caveats you want about any such transactions being “Totally unrelated to this Forum’ " But if someone has their nose out of joint, they are going to us the Forum to whinge about it.
Give it a go, by all means…but let people know that attacking someone over a sale/ swap that went wrong on the Forum will not be tolerated…and be willing to enforce that. Just my 2 cents worth, Cheers, 'Say, while we are here I want to complain about…never mind”!, Doons
@Doonsbury - exactly why we do not want to be involved.
If people talk to each other privately or in a dedicated topic - we are not having any part of it.
Strictly between members.
No support from us in any way at all.
As long as this is clear @Joca1
It’s outside of anything we do - but we can’t stop people talking to each other.
Fair enough mate!
I am a member of another Forum and they have a dedicated buy and sell section and it seems to run smoothly enough…but they are exactly the same…No participation by the Forum (Except for any necessary Moderation of course) I think as long as members use a little common sense, then it shouldn’t pose any great problem. Cheers, Doons
Yep @Doonsbury
That’s why I asked for mod opinions about such a category…
But I want it to be clear that if we did this - there would be no involvement from us.
Members will have to look after themselves and it would be an “independent” topic…
If that makes sense?
I’m not against it.
Just wanted to be clear about it from the outset.
I’ve got a question. After riding my bike on a very bumpy road, my watch won’t turn on. Is it possible for the contacts on the battery to come loose?
Yes this is possible. This could also happen with the screen connector .
Leave it overnight and then see if it will charge.
If not, you need to return it.
I’m not sure if I can return it. I’ve asked kospet for aftersales support. I’m assuming it’s not advisable to open it up. I’ve tried charging it but there is no indication it turns on, no sound or anything
How old is your watch?
I bought it in June here in China. I bought it using taobao.com and the seller has told me they don’t sell it anymore.
