If you go to Settings and then About Watch and check Wireless Updates you will see if there is any update available.
If none is available then it means that the manufacturer has not made a public update available yet.

I checked, there is no OTA update available at the moment.
The newest firmware version and download is always found in the first post of this thread, and it is currently the same as yours 
It may be a bad question. If I put a clock face created in WFD at 400x400 pixels is OK in Kospet Prime 2 but one also made in WFD at a resolution of 480x480 pixels, it appears large and does not fit in the display? Doesnât it have a display of 480x480 pixels?
has 480x480 px. But the watch engine scaled from 400x400 to 480x480. Probably so that the many existing watchfaces can be used.
If the universal launcher is used, a 480 face has visibly better quality. However, the scale function must still be used because UL also expects a 400 face.

I just received a Prime 2 ordered in November today and I was playing with it. So in SL it automatically scales you from 400x400 to 480 instead, in UL on Prime 2 you have to make the resolution of 480x480 in WFD and it will have a better quality.

This has already been implemented in several smartwachesâŚ
It saves a little battery but to feed the Prime 2 you should prefer a solar panel on your backpack!

so the only way to get the prime2 working is to flash it is that what i am understanding
Not sure I understand what your question relates to. Is your watch not working? v1.4 is the latest update and you have that so no need to flash or update if your watch is working okay.
