Kospet Prime 2 Official support UPDATED!

Ok, will wait.
I was hoping something like that…
For me, It’s really a plague, more than a pain in the b*** !

Ok, tomorrow I begin wrist testing…
Will see.

Nope…
I have never thought of a factory reset before starting!

@Nspz_73 After taking an OTA it is always best to do this.
If you are flashing firmware from your pc using the firmware upgrade option in the flash tool - there is no need.

It’s not that bad and you get used to it.
But obviously it is being worked on.

Probably blocking the camera output channel somehow… Don’t know to be honest?

It seems to be related to Android 10, on Android 7 watches, the request of permission is done correctly. They probably have change the way the app should request permission, I have to look at this.

As stated in one post it seems to have a better behavior when on the wrist!
And then it is not that bad, you’re right…

What app did you use ?

My Running app. Couldn’t find the GPS switch for the build-in sports app. Every time I tried to start the bike run it prompted me to switch on GPS, but it’s not found sliding to the right, so where is it, do you know ?

Anyway, happy with My Running app, can also send my workout to Strava and watch it on my phone :ok_hand:

slide the screen downwards when you’re on the mainscreen

There is no main screen. I slide all to the right, and straight away I should select a training and start. It cannot slide down, then I’m just scrolling the sports types ?

Okay . Lets continue this in the " myrunningapp " thread :+1:

I understand it’s getting too much fitness app talk, but it’s not about My Running app, it’s about the build-in sports app (scrolling from watchface all to the right). Is that by the way the same app as the “Fitness” app ? Different user interface, but same app, or two different ?
I opened the Fitness app now, and there I could scroll to the right and enable GPS. That seems to have helped for the scroll-to-the-right app too :ok_hand:

I don’t have the watch but remembered Mr. Ticks showing it his P2 video. I was revealed by sliding to the left.

Yes . Thats all perfectly normal

Yes, that’s where I found it, in the Fitness app, but it isn’t available when you slide from the watchface all to the right. But I guess that may actually only be a kind of widget, which actually starts a sport in the Fitness app.

Anyway tried it with the evening walk with the dogs, and it worked (big GPS fluke 2km away and back though).

@pablo11 there is still some Chinese text not yet translated in the Fitness app

I’m still trying to use the watch faces that I created with FaceMaker for the Prime…

First I discovered accidentally that the Prime 2 can use the xml watch faces if we put them in a non zipped folder in Clockskins!
With this I could use my favorite skins I collected for the Prime and even some I modified myself manually.
The only problem is that the heart rate is not updated like it can be in UL.

I also noticed that the skin folder is not accepted if it contains subfolders (not 100% sure) or stupid file names beginning with a dot (90% of the skins I had collected)!

BTW, I had to stop using UL 3.4 to get my best watchfaces made for the Prime.
DotWatch faces don’t show (Black screen).
Xml faces, zipped or not seem fine but UL quits after a minute or two even with all the battery, Cleaner optimizations disabled…
