Is your boot image still patched by Magisk?
I understand that you can lock the preloader again, but magisk usually patches the boot and recovery images.
The only way to confirm that it is not related to this, is to flash the stock firmware and test.
As I said before, it is a known issue once the images have been patched.
I’m confused about what you said earlier because flashing the stock firmware again would mean the preloader would be locked by default.
Unless you didn’t flash the preloader which you need to do.
You have to use the firmware upgrade option in the flash tool when you flash the firmware back to stock.
!!! i am so sorry …i am thinking now this was all error on my part…i previously updated the firmware in sp tools using only the download option…now i used the firmware upgrade option and straight away it is charging faster and drawing more current…thanks for the advice pablo!!
really feel like an idiot…magisk and twrp…drawing just under .2 amps…most satisfactory.
It’s not them drawing current @joesnose
It’s the boot image changes made by Magisk messing with the charging profile for some reason.
Sad but true.
Glad you sorted it
