That is unfortunately not possible, the vendors are having predefined icons for the preinstalled applications.

This is far from a complete list, but things I most like about the int. fw include
- all Google apps work (contacts, calendar, etc.)
- 3rd party apps that didnāt work due to lack of certification now work
- better battery usage
- settings are better organized
- easier switching between round and square modes, especially when using Universal Launcher
There are no downsides for me.

The blur wasnāt there.
Those icons are device and vendor specific and it is preferred to keep them like originally intended.
Maybe thatās my favorite thing about stock firmware

Hmm thatās tricky,
I donāt believe that it is possible to get it to be brighter than the maximum setting but I will try to find out.
The Prime 2 screen is just better in every way but unfortunately slightly too big for a lot of peopleā¦

It is not possible.
The lux is set in the specifications and nothing we can do will change it.
Using Day/Night faces is the best way to proceed with the 1.6" screens.
Perhaps the Mondaine collection is an alternative?

Among FAWs, the Prime 2 is unusually bright. The Optimus 2 is more typical.

I did the comparison of display betn OP2 n Zeblaze Thor 4 Dual. ZBT4D has AMOLED and OP2 is IPC. The first does make a great impact and on OP2 the color shades are kinda washed out.
Iām happy with faw1.2 on my OP2. Only concern is that when receiving calls the screen takes several seconds to wake up. Settings or bug?
I think it would depend on what apps you have installed.
If you have no apps - it is strange 
It happens the same to me. With FAW 1.1 when receiving a call the screen switched on instantly. I have the LEM14 and now testing FAW 1.2 . Also sometimes , twice so far, the screen stays off but the watch is still working, receiving calls etc, and the only way to get out is switching off pressing the upper button for 10 seconds.
I have several apps installed. I have not changed the launcher. Original whatchfaces.
I will try to see if I can figure it out.
Have you guys enabled the āwake screen for notificationā setting in the display settings?
Just tested on optimus 2 latest firmware . No issues ( 1 second ) and screen is visible
